I’m an Afghanistan veteran and every time the VA gives me a prescription it has bad side effects. Thank you, for your service. 🙏🏼 I hope for a great future.
I sincerely hope his case gets thrown out the window, not just because he's an American hero but also because he was being prescribed the drug WAY longer than allowed/recommended. Thank you for your service Mike.
Veterans need more than prayers. Legal justice for veterans is in the hands of the legal system which doesn’t understand the combat experiences that changed their lives forever. Citizens need to vote for people who will help veterans like this one. Veterans are entitled to competent legal representation & veteran culturally competent mental health care. Americans have a duty to serve protect our warriors who served our country with dignity & honor. I proudly serve those who served who are justice involved veterans. Veteran mental health & step down support is crucial to bringing our heroes all the way home. 🇺🇸
I looked for the disposition of Mike's court case and couldnt find anything after court. I sincerely hope they opted for VA medical court. We owe these service members support after service.
🏆🤗🙏🇺🇲 God Bless Mike and his family and prayers for his recovery and well being and hopes he'll get an understanding and compassionate judge/jury 🛐🎖️ Thank you for sharing
Ryan the question you asked about whether it was an accumulation or a single event that sparked the trauma was a great one! I struggled for years until one day I realized it was one event and not all of them! When I was able to come to peace with that day things got better for me. That's a question we all need to be asking. Mike God Bless you brother and my family is praying for your positive outcome from this absolute bullshit deal. Jay sits in Valhalla standing watch brother and we will all he together someday
I am a lawyer and I help vets pro bono. Does he have counsel? I was unable to watch the entire video yet but I want to help him find counsel and make sure he is protected.
I know the medications they had me own totally had me F up they had me on morphine and a break through pain killer and 2 anti depression medications and I came so close to getting in trouble from law enforcement because of how the effects of those medications caused major anger issues. Once I finally got off them life got better. But I had to move to the mtns to find peace with myself and life. I hope we here how things ended up with his case.
How do I GET "INTO!" the Seebees? Gramps was an officer WWII "I Am" a Retired Journeyman of MULTIPAL TRADES! all in the world of SEABEE's Waste, Potable Water, Sanitary Waste, Energy, Back up Powers, Haz Locations, Transport, Rail, Horbor, and Air?
@@davefellhoelter1343you go to a recruiter and sign up! You commented 6 months ago. Have you moved forward with the idea at all? Most jobs, I imagine SeaBees also, is just ASVAB (Military entrance exam test) test score. You just need to score high enough. Then pick it, and hopefully the Navy will assign you to it. There are guaranteed contracts in some branches under certain conditions. Ask a recruiter.

Politician`s own sons must be sent to war zones on the front line to learn what they go through. What they recommend as to how soldiers must be treated on return would help.
The politicians themselves need to be sent to war zones. They start it they support it. Well then they need to do their due diligence and man up. None of this in the rear with the gear sh|t.
Ryan, do you have any updates to Mikes case? I just watched this episode today, sorry for being so far behind the curve for both of you. I would’ve loved to have helped spread the word on this… Time for me to get busy looking for some news sources and see what is going on….
Thank you Ryan! Listened to Mikes story on combat stories and another show today. Thank you both for your service. God bless you Mike and your family. I know a strong man like yourself will be fine no matter what. Hang in there brother!
It’s better to know than practice. Things go better that way so you are not compromised by lawyers! Lawyers always practice. I’ve been through level 4 maximum security prison in Ct. just for the practice and of public defense.
I’ve got that same charm came from my mom. People in comments we have to help Mike’s cause. His bag of legal shit he stepped in needs to be addressed by all . I’ve lost my faith in our justice system and this just cap’s it off.
Question for Mike, great interview, you mentioned in the compound in Afghan with the 30 afghan commandos you made a grand entrance and it was quiet that night but the following day it started kicking off in earnest, any you mentioned you had the azimuths spray painted and things set up, that you had an observer on the roof calling out azimuths and distance, did you have a dedicated FO, I was a forward observer in the army, I’m not sure if the marines had an MOS for that or was everyone trained for calling for fire/arty missions etc…, you mentioned you had a JTAC for CAS so I’m wondering if you had a FISTER/FO?
I'm not Mike, but USMC has MOS 0861 as forward observers who attend Ft Sill for AIT. It could well have an 0861 as the JTAC who was qualified through USMC or SOTACC on going to the MARSOC fires cell (or even before going there).
@@ajback2917 Thanks for that info, when I was at Ft Sill I saw some marines but never found out for whatever reason if they were actually FO’s by MOS or if maybe it was a short condensed training on just basic calls for fire.
Marine Infantrymen should be able to call for fire and do rotary CAS. Call for fire being 60, 81, and 120mm mortars. Fixed wing and artillery calls are beyond a basic infantryman’s skillset.
@@louiswolff3251 there is also a two part series of books made by a Marine JTAC who was attached to an MSOT. The first book was called Level Zero Heroes. He talks about his time there. There are also a bunch of youtube videos that show them in TICs.
You don’t want it just expunged you want it Quashed. There is a big difference. I had a huge problem with this myself I spend a year in jail learning law and only had a court appointed attorney I thought for veterans Court, I learned my discovery, like the back of my hand, that all paid off I have now been given my firearms back I can continue to buy firearms and I plug to two misdemeanors because I had never been in trouble a day in my life. but Mike is right it is very easy to get wrapped up in the system being a veteran with TBI
Consider a script and contact Benjamin Patton nyc. He is the son and grandson of General George Pattons. Years ago we were personal friends. He will resolve this appropriately!
Holy shit I had the same reaction to the same drug. I don’t even remember what happened. I was apprehended by the police.. but I was brought to a psychiatric facility. I guess I got really lucky
Please write a letter to the court and his town paper. His County Representative too. You would be surprised in the difference you can make. This Country works by community support. The more the merrier.
Is there a way I can write a letter to the judge or help in any way to impact positively his case? I am seeing this late but wanted to ask anyway as Im a North Carolinian and care about + value our veterans always.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure he was. I’ve seen pictures of these guys together on Cody’s IG and that’s how I heard about this guys situation before this podcast.
I had a Crome Plated or? Very VERY POLISHED K BAR from a Family Member as a commemorative award. I gave it to my Lill Buddy Neighbor Kid on his 14th? or 15th? birthday With! Parental Blessings! About 15 yrs ago? He "IS" Now! A Marine Vet! with Twins, and one or two other munchcins!
Does anyone have any idea how his court case ended up working out? I’m only this far 6:17 so my apologies if he says in the end of this and I’m just not there yet.
What is he being charged with. Assault? Murder? Arson? Way too vague on these issues. Would like to contribute but need more facts about case. Seems like good fella.
Maybe this would help you ? *”Despite all that, Bloch has been charged with two felonies for discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, a misdemeanor for discharging a firearm in proximity to a structure in city limits, and a misdemeanor for property damage in excess of $200” * *source- Google Think it IMO a bunch of crap !

Ryan, surely you can see the difference between a marine of Mike's caliber and how his experiences compared to Todd Opalski. I know Central Intelligence background is not indicative of actual intelligence but my God you must go back and watch that podcast and be able to see the holes and lack of information in Todd's account to support his claims. I am very interested in exposing that crap.
Why doesn't anyone ever address the fact that the VAST MAJORITY of people that join the military are NOT mentally equipped to deal with what they will experience?
@@AnonYMous-wf3wq How about stopping wars where U.S. citizens have not been directly attacked? Then quit recruiting the low IQ, easily brain-washed. You pretend that the military does not currently recruit those easily convinced to kill others. I strongly disagree. There is a huge difference between being mentally equipped to deal with killing others and being so messed up that is all you can think about.
My brother given VA psych med packs mailed to the door. You could shake the big ass shipping box and the whole box would rattle. Horrible side effects.

Are you willing to acknowledge that it might be a bad idea to allow people with TBI, PTSD, and other serious psychological issues to own guns? You can't have it both ways. You can't say that we should allow veterans, no matter how psychologically damaged they are, to own guns and then also say that they shouldn't be held accountable when they flip out and start shooting at random people.
Yea, our law enforcement sounds like they are relying on their movie experience way to much here. That we don't have a sound and responsible VA and battle stress therapy organization is lame.
Anon, they are Americans and American laws apply to them no differently than it does to you and I. If convicted of a felony then they must face the music concerning felons loosing their rights to to legally own guns. The fact that they are veterans does not make them guilty of anything unless and until they are convicted of crimes.
