I never served however I come from a military family. Both grandfathers who are no longer with us one was Navy and the other Army a great uncle Marine and one great aunt Airforce. I saw a mistake in the typed lyrics it says jumped from the rock in the middle of the night, I believe that should be jumped from the rack, i.e. bunk, in the middle of the night just saying it's the MARINES, you gotta get it right!
