I actually watched a walkthrough of Tiny-Huge Island yesterday in hopes of remembering one of the most unique levels of the game. I actually cried out in empathy for the Wiggler there, because, let's face it, nobody deserves to be killed in their own house by the person who destroyed it. Now, after seeing this one, I'm still crying.

i don't know why, but every time andre plays through a demo of these N64 inspired creations, it triggers my asmr so much. Maybe nostalgia is the cause....

I follow you on SMM, so I'll see anything you put out. Still like Super Shmup Bros, but you should probably put a ceiling in, since you can just fly above the screen all the way across without any projectiles getting to you. I did manage to defeat Baby Bowser the last time I played.

I would just like to say, that power stars and super stars are two very different things Doods. Power stars restore energy, such as with the observatory or the castle, and super stars make you invincible Doods.

How do I use the ID level codes on the 3ds version?

I think you should add a side by side comparison. Or at least a little box in the corner with Mario 64 gameplay. It helps me follow along because I haven't played this game since the N64 era.

Wait, you can run out of GROUND? ....that's kinda bullshit...

Might I recommend adding some more coins to the wide open area and the area with the cave? It'd help steer players along better.

Suggestion if you ever remake this. You could use pipes to transition between land and water segments

Personally, I would've made going into the ship optional, but give you some kind of an award, or somehow make the ship a less riskier but slower path similar to the haunted boatyard level in 3D World. As for a stage I would like to see in the future, I would like to see your interpretation of Wet-Dry World.

+GameXplain is there any reason you record in 720p60 over 1080p60? Does it have to do with stuttering? Because I got myself a Elgato HD60 and I get occasional stuttering when recording in 1080p60. I wonder if that's the case for you too. Anyway, do you have a solution for this? When I record my Wii U gameplay - I directly upload it to RU-vid. Maybe you are converting (or something a like) the video in some program before uploading it to RU-vid?

I actually took a bit of inspiration from these Mario 64 levels in Mario Maker and tried doing something similar, but instead with Mario Sunshine. My recreation was Bianco Hills. If you want to try it yourself, the code is: 8D61-0000-00AD-091A. The level includes three different endings, in vain attempts to recreate certain missions from Mario Sunshine. Sorry for this absolutely shameless self-shout out, but I just thought the folks at GameXplain might enjoy it. It's not as clever as their 64 remakes, but I certainly tried.
