Mario and Luigi both running for their lives 

Considering that this is actually done by me and one of my homies and not a TAS, this took an embarrassing amount of time to do than I care to admit.

If bowser used an ounce of his army’s full potential:

I feel like Luigi is just playing the level while Mario is doing tricks because he's been through this before.

Luigi: *crying* Mario: First time

The fact that they both have only one life and small form, is really terrifying for this level.

Both play the level professionally and then miss top of the checkpoint

The fact that Mario is having fun doing parkour flips while Luigi is less focused on flips and trying to run for his life is completely in character.

This Mario level did a great job of making a better "Super Mario Run" than the actual _Super Mario Run_ would ever be.

It's the "WAHOO" sound that Mario makes that hit me in the feels while listening to the music, bro. I can't help but "WAHOO" with him every time. Then I remembered somebody's comment in the first video about how even in a life-or-death situation, Mario still jumps high and enjoys what he does while he strives to the finish. Powerful Stuff. Godspeed, Mario Bros. Godspeed

Story: Mario and Luigi were on their last lives and the finally defeat Bowser's final form. He set his castle on self destruct, sending King Bills to take down the two plumbers along with his castle. Bowser used his last energy and ceased to exist, and his ceasing would pause if both the Mario Bros. were taken down. That's when the scene in the video happens. After Mario and Luigi made it to safety, they are now at the red mountains that the parts of Boswer's castle touched. After the tough run, the two plumbers returned home in their victory.

The Sequel We Didn't Know We Needed…

Even though the two king bills in the back are farther than in the previous video, it still feels so much more nerve wracking, because the slight camera scroll gives the brothers less time to react and all the king bills besides the first two get to Mario closer than before. Small changes are often all it takes to make a great psychological difference.

love how luigi's kinda just running through it but mario is putting so much style and grace into his jumps

Will we get a 3rd episode of Mario running for his life with the Toads alongside him ?

amazing how two king bills can make an autoscroll so much more intense without changing the gameplay

I like how Luigi is trying his best to clear the level while his older brother Jump Man is stunting on everything, ha ha.

Cant wait for the toads to join in. I feel like from that point wed see three different styles for this level: Mario: "First time?" / Cool tricks / doesnt care Luigi: *bawling* / Just trying not to die Blue & Yellow Toad: *Fist Bump playing in the background* / Alternating between carrying each other / "Were doing this together"

I must ask, how is it so perfectly coordinated in design that stopping for 1/2 a second is a death sentence Like reggie is a damm good editor but this is straight up from hell in design

I like how mario could have made it to the top of the flagpole, but he didnt want luigi to feel bad. So he joined him at the bottom, very wholesome stuff 😁

I love how you can kinda see their personalities come through. Luigi's just in it for it to be done, and only occasionally goofs off. He twist-jumps to keep his altitude. He goes under the shocker things and hardly ever kills any enemies unless it's unavoidable. Plays it very safe. Mario literally went backwards at the start, does sick flips the whole time, collects all the coins he can, and kills about everything able to be killed without losing speed. He's much more risky, showboating.

they ran for their lives to help a customer, what an act of kindness, honor, bravery, grace, and skill.
