The guy who handed it to him is the idiot, and the one - if anyone - you should feel sorry for. The guy missing an arm was trying not to make the other guy look like an ass. "Good on ya, mate."
Yeah that was my thought too. A friend of mine is disabled and he said one of the worst things is when people constantly try to help him and treat him like a baby
request - years ago, the footy show had a great debate which featured the worm graph. I remember rolling on the floor with laughter as they took the mick out of Mario.
husahusahusahusahu... pqp... é pior que aquele que tentou cumprimentar o cego e ficou a mão estendida por uns 10 segundos até lembrar que o cara não tava vendo...
With it recently coming to light that Mario has been suffering from dementia, it kinda puts a bit more light on a situation like this. Still funny to have a laugh about but also a bit sad when you think about it.
rape is also funny. like the late Patrice Oneal said. you cant decide whats funny or not. if people laugh then its funny. its just a sense of humor you dont get
Oh Jesus , I'm sure he wasn't insulted , because he has a life and doesn't go on about it trying to interpret things as insulting to him . You go get a life , ur insulting
I would argue that you're being too uptight about it. I imagine the one armed man has come to terms with his situation and is able to laugh about silly things like this... Or maybe you're right. Maybe he cries himself to sleep every night.
In any case it's not like the presenters are laughing AT the disabled person. They're laughing because a unique and slightly awkward situation was created. There's no malice in their enjoyment of the scenario so why treat it as though it's in bad taste?
The bloke with one arm , Jack Newton, plays golf one handed. He used to be a professional golfer till one day he walked into a propeller prop whilst walking towards a plane to board. I think he may have been drunk at the time. He lost an eye also ;-)
