But yeah, no way SSB is over after this game lol. It will be over until Nintendo's next console, because Nintendo definitely wont stop making consoles. They will probably just keep improving the switch over and over. With different variants like they did to the DS. Since the Switch is such a smash hit home run. The only difference is that you can't get the other Nintendo consoles than Switch, and Non-Nintendo consoles in Animal Crossing. You have to draw them in the custom design.

Spirits being fighters is probably because they thought of them as fighters but time constraints and the initial pass inhibited their inclusion while assist trophy’s are already fully designed function character models with moves that were purposefully designed to not be controllable as fighters.
