Switch has a slight antialiasing improvement, textures look a bit better too, but overall it's just jumping from medium to very high settings on a modern game.
I just bought a second hand Wiiu with Mario Kart 8. Such a blast! XD Haven't had a console since 18 years ago, which was a Super Nintendo lol. Good times!
Cant wait to get one too. I know it sound crazy buying a wii u in 2020 but its the same experiance as the switch but the difference is that its much cheaper
Both versions look great to me, I never owned any Nintendo console but my sister had a Gameboy long time ago, I had a neighbor who had a N64 and we used to play Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart and some other games, we spent hours and hours playing those games, great times, now I bought the Switch and I can't wait to have fun with some games.

The colors look slightly different between versions (and not in a way that you can say one is better than the other.) Otherwise the two are identical in every other way (at least, my eyes can't spot any other differences.)

The only difference is that the "Deluxe" version (additionally to full $60 price tag) required paid subscription per month/year. If you don't pay per month/year in order to play 3 year old game that was free, Nintendo developers with starve to death and went bankrupt. Nintendo is in a very shaky position according to Nintendo fanboys.
The only difference is that the Wii U graphics is 720p60. And Nintendo Switch graphics is 1080p60. And the only difference between Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 "DELUXE" is just more characters, different stuff, different looking tracks (I don't know if you can notice some of the tracks that changed compared to the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. But it kinda changed actually. And even the Karts too! But it's also kinda hard to notice for some people). So basically Nintendo ported Mario Kart 8 to the Nintendo Switch but only llittle tiny different change. :P It would be nice if Super Mario Maker was ported but with desert themed, snow themed, and forest themed, and more enemies. It would also be nice if the Nintendo Switch had New Super Mario Bros. Switch because the DS, Wii, 3DS, and Wii U had the New Super Mario Bros. series. So, why not for the Switch? It would be cool actually!
@@jonathan_8100 and it is different the Wii u version doesn't come with the dlc tracks and characters and some characters such as dry bones boo and gold Mario are only available on the switch version
Why are you dudes fighting over this shit? We as consumers need to make sure that Nintendo is giving us our money’s worth. I don’t see much difference and the fact is I’m only buying this because my son wants it. I’m buying a ps4 pro (redemption 2 pack). I f feel like my son wants it because all he does is watch RU-vid and the advertise it to children. He is 7 and he doesn’t care about how closely the graphic are to wii. But I care and I feel I’m Wasting my money. You have to dock it to get the full potential and that’s bs IMO. But I’m getting for him anyways..
this isn't the real Nintendo switch version. look at the item box. the Nintendo switch version always shows 2 circles, but its only one in this video. im guessing he used a 1080p emulator
A diferença é bem pequena, mas existe. Wii U foi um dos fracassos da Nintendo em relação a vendas e fico com pena de quem comprou o vídeo-game que teve vida tão curta e todos os jogos dele foram passados e melhorados pro Switch. Mas se tem uma coisa que eu não gostei tanto no Wii U como no Switch foi a imagem dos jogos como se estivessem esfumaçados. As cores não são vivas e ficou com um aspecto de baixa qualidade.
The Nintendo switch has almost the same specs from the Wii U, but it is Portable bruh. I dont really like it, people just brought the same product but now it is PoRtAbLe
