Idea: 16 speedrunners. Last one to beat a kingdom is kicked out of the race

Notice how during this novel speedrun challenge with one unique, defining gimmick, SmallAnt's initial plan is to ignore the gimmick entirely.

That "huh" after ant saying where his favorite coin was so monotone and satisfying to hear

I like that Cjya is a bit better than Smant at the movement, but Smant has all of these mind games and big brained strategies. It makes these challenges feel really close and interesting.

I love how Ant's general back up strat in races like these is just "Lie until the other person believes him into making a mistake."

I just love it that both know literally every coin in the darkest corners of every kingdom, even the strats r definitely worth a sub!

8:40 was an impressive fail. If you had gotten the 3 in the middle of the line and the tiny guys, you would have been fine.

I would like to see this happen in SM64 Maybe between Simply and Cheese. That's because in SM64 there is actually a good reason to collecting coins as they are needed for the 100 Coin Star.

Smallant's acting is what makes this race ten times as interesting, such galaxy brained strats

Multiplayer mario odyssey is so incredible and opens up so many new opportunities but damn is it like some kind of weird dream

Awesome run you two. I was wondering about an idea: would it be possible to implement a sort of "moon lockout" multiplayer run? Like if you grab a moon before the other player(s), then the others can't get that moon for a set amount of time? Just a thought.

SmallAnt is like the king troll speedrunner. I'm shocked that when people accept a challenge or try to challenge him to something, they still expect to beat him. He always has a strat, a trick, or a route hidden up his sleeves.

I think a version of this mod that's semi-blind would be really cool. Like only being able to see the opponent's coin count at the moment the countdown ends. That way you have to gamble and play heavy mindgames on whether or not you've collected enough coins to win the countdown, and using the information of how much they've collected when the gamble is decided to guess at what they've already done and what you need to do to beat them on the next collection.

Every time I watch SmallAnt play this game, it makes me want to play it again 😂
