Welcome back to the obscure Mario games iceberg! Today we are taking a look at the last layer, layer 8. I’m oddly proud of myself for knowing about Mario’s Bombs Away before this video. It’s such a strange little piece of Mario history, one of those ones that’s hard to believe at first. It always reminds me how brain-bending the sheer amount of Mario games in the world is

Itadaki street for ds is not the first in the series. The series actually originated on the Famicom and was made by Enix before they merged with square. Fortune Street (as it was called outside Japan) is the first entry released outside Japan.

As a kid I had the Mario 4 watch, I got it from K-Mart and loved it. It came in a box box style case

Mario's Bombs Away isn't really that obscure compared to other games on this iceberg. I think the most obscure Mario game is D.K.R. DMG which was found on an internal Rare document for E3 1998 and was going to be playable there.

funnily enough, Mario's Bombs Away was the only game from this list that I knew of :p

For the "Missing" Mario 35th Games I'm kinda stumped as well, "Missing" is in quotation marks so it probably is referring to SMG2 in SM3DAS. There are several renderers in the files for other N64 titles that aren't Mario related though, and the launcher apparently has files from an unknown 3D Mario game.
