Seeing that look of nostalgia and joy on his face, he must of felt 30 years younger. There’s a certain love and passion people have for George’s stories. Something only others that have seen the films, or loved them, can understand.
Matotra I think it’s the minor elements I have problems with but the story that I like fine. I found this film to be more like Two Towers than anything else. It’s honestly everyone’s least favorite in that trilogy. The only difference is that this one has a few more questionable moments that don’t really go that much anywhere. That’s still not to say that there aren’t any elements that do go somewhere, but honestly you could have just stuck to that. It’s still a good enough movie.
Because it has nothing to do with anything Last Jedi accomplished and everything to do with what Empire Strikes Back accomplished, nostalgia =/= good writing.

Dang...this just melts my heart. For once, during production of The Last Jedi, Mark's crying tears of joy instead of anguish. Though he has every right to be anguished, lol.
@@TheVCRTimeMachine Because we picture Master Jedi Luke Skywalker as a robed person, from the comics and the expanded universe. Its only natural. For some of us Star Wars goes way beyond movies.

Well yes, i never said it wasn't. I can grow my hair out to half Lukes length in like 1 year. Just saying hes only been on the island for 2 years or so, not 30.
This moment really got to me like it did to Hamil, sure the film wasn't perfect but that's not the point in this moment here, we have people coming together after over 2 decades to make star wars movies again, that alone is enough, enough trash talking, we don't want Star wars to fade away because these people like Mark Hamil and Frank Oz became discouraged to make more.
