This is a great song about a great horse. This song gave my mum goosebumps and she has no idea of any horses. I love this song for kauto and hope this is not the end of kauto star.

Technically he still is. He was still the highest rated chaser in training from the 2011/2012 season before his retirement. He's still the highest rated chaser alive today so if anyone is wrong its yourself. Happy retirement Kauto, Great memories...

I love Kauto, he got me into racing. I love Frankel but Kauto Star will always be my number one... Sprinter Sacre is a great horse but over 3 miles Kauto is STILL the king :)

@L1verpool5 RacingUK took down the original video due to copyright infringement despite the fact that all clips were taken from other youtube users, so they are all still on the site. Mark's was taken down even though he was adding a bit of excitement to this years Cheltenham Festival, but thats life ! He will sing this song live on 'The Morning Line' on Channel 4 on Gold Cup Friday (16th) and also on the podium at Cheltenham.

@MeganSheedy1 I agreee - Ruby did the best thing for him, I thought it was a very noble way to bow out and pass on his Gold Cup crown. Would much rather see him pulled up safe and sound, than have a jumping accident later in the race or have a heart attack like Best Mate. a true legend, and this song even admits: "when that day comes when it's over, we will only then realise, how privileged we have been to have the star shine in our eyes". I've loved him since his Exeter fall in 2005

Racing Uk does that with all kind of racing clips. I did put up something once that even wasn't broadcast by them, and they took it down. I wonder why, maybe they think they own all the rights to racing broadcasts, even if it was not filmed by them. They are very annoying. I live a broad and I don't want to pay £30 a month to watch some races on my computer.
