JB looks just like Popcorn now.

I remember having his moonshine in the house as a kid. Living in Maggie Valley NC, my mom used it for when we had colds. I can remember him driving down the valley. We'd all stop and watch that old 32 Ford pickup until we couldn't see in anymore. A true legend in the valley.

I was so blessed to be part of the filming of Popcorn Suttons last dam run of likker he truly was a legend i still have half a jar of the shine he made on a shelf in my house sealed in wax never to be touched again

Finding an old jar of popcorns liquor would be the equivalent to finding the holy grail. It's so valuable now it's crazy

Knowing popcorn, he hid a few gallons in his stomach before he passed.

To think that there are random jars of alcohol out there somewhere still sittin exactly where Popcorn put em, and KNOWING the type of man he was, just gets me😂

I've had Digger's shine and if it was anything like Suttons then there is no doubt it was the best ever made.

I still remember the pint of popcorn shine I got years after he passed away... haven't had anything close to it since. My wife gave it to me for birthday present. Had popcorn shine and it has a taste to it you won't forget.😊

You know I'm at the point in my life where I pretty much feel like I have seen and heard at all but listening to Mark and Digger watching some of these old videos has brought a smile and a couple laughs out of me and I'm telling you I can't remember the last time I smiled or laughed but some of the s*** that comes out of their mouth has made me laugh

These videos motivated me to build my own still from the crap in my garage. I started turning out triple distilled 90% and it was very fun

I have family that makes moonshine down in Kantuckee and I just want to say that while Popcorn was 100% legit, he wasn't the ONLY actual moonshiner left. He was however one of the last remaining OG's left that used to run moonshine the old school way and fr is a living legend. However, everyone and there mother with legit relatives there knows where to find the stuff so I would imagine there is still some kick a** moonshine rolling around. In Kentucky, living in those mountains it's not like you can just run down the road to the corner store... well, you can but that "corner store" will be about 10-15 miles MINIMUM if you are lucky. Realistically 20-40 miles, and that's driving slow speeds of 25-35 mph navigating up and down hills. So, you have to make do with what you have as best as you have it. It's all about sustainability and a far less reliance on outside resources compared to other places. I don't think many people understand how isolated these mountain treks and backroads can get. Those Appalachians are freaking huge. When you can see for dozens of miles and you don't see s*** for civilization, the mountain dew coming up as the sun increases the temp outside, and the sounds of nature are echoing down the valley... you know exactly where you're supposed to be and where you're not all at the same time lol. At least you can look around and admire the beautiful works of art that nature has provided for you to ponder upon as you stand there lost as f***.

I remember as a kid going to one of my step-dads friends houses and they gave me a glass of "water" that I drank in 2 gulps.... It was straight moonshine and I literally passed out about 30 minutes later. 🤣🤣

My old man bought two gallons of Popcorns likky about 20 years ago. Still have a untouched gallon sitting in the cupboard. It really is good stuff and I'm not really big on corn likker
