Marc Hager was born November 15, 1966, in North Miami Beach Florida and later adopted and grew up in a small town near St. Louis, Missouri. He moved back to Florida in 1985 and started boxing in 1986 and won the Florida Association Golden Gloves Championship, as a novice, in 1988 at 156lbs, and followed by winning the open title, also at 156 lbs. He was on the Florida State team with Winky Wright and David Santos in 1989. Marc devoted many hours coaching amateurs from 1994 -2010. He was also the go-to-guy whenever a promoter needed a boxing ring for their shows. He traveled the state setting up his ring for almost twenty rings and was dependable and always did a great job.
