Jacki you were and are a legend shame that they didn't talk about all the charity work you did. The barker cancer ward would not be what it is without you!!! Good on you mate.
MANCHESTER UNITED Maybe the most powerful sport, but certainly not played by the most powerful players. Can’t help but laugh at the light weight, skinny upper bodies of most EPL players, particularly their computer nerd biceps (Michael Antonio and Adama Traore excepted). Perhaps to be expected in a sport with virtually no meaningful body contact or tackling where most players play with handbags. Soccer isn’t really a sport for men, is it? Nancy boys perhaps, but not men.
@M Hey stupid, does AUSTRALIAN Rules Football ring any bells in that vacuum between yours mean anything. Here's a clue, the game was born and is played in AUSTRALIA, Soccer is an international football game played globally by many countries. So your clueless comment has nothing to do with this post.
A very sharp mind. One of those Aussies that other Australians shut the door on but Americans totally get because they know he's got a set of Lionel Hutz and understands how a basic business statement works. His own thinking which is actually more in line with places where they do actually have pride in their land and respect others for getting ahead even if personalities differ. Gumption is a good word
He is a mad bastard and summed himself succinctly as nowhere near the most gifted footballer but the greatest entertainer. Also, predicted footy players becoming robotic with no character. I do miss the madness of the bygone days.
@J G you really need to get a life... Let me guess a pommy who whines day in and out," it was never like this back home." I am goanna go watch a clip about planting vegetables and maximising harvest and taste then proceed to whine that insects taste better and will surpass mammal consumption by 2050🤯🙃🤔🤐🥸🤫🤣
Back when Jacko played players were actually instructed to knock people out and to intimidate their opponents, that was part of the game. Jackp wasn't the only one to do this, people. It was part of the game and if a team mate got on your nerves you knocked them out too. Ahhh the memories, back when footy was real!
he's right though and even more so today, the game has been sanitized to such a level that players can't show any personality or character. Look what happened to Akermanis, you can't answer a question honestly without the PC police jumping all over you
I thought they sacked him because he was too outspoken his to speaks the truth but he obviously didn't want to do the plan to get other people to kick the goals
@@malradojicic7198 fat controlling the game and making money it's a corporate thing it's not like the old barrack for your team anymore it's a corporate thing that the highest paying teams get the best draught get the best players it's all like and it's all gambled on it's all match it's all fixed Mark Jackson like Princess Diana was a loose cannon night they didn't want him
@J G Soccer is popular because anyone can play it.It doesn't take courage or hard core fitness. It's a game that anyone with 2 functioning legs can play, Whereas AFL and Rugby Union/League takes guts and fitness to play. This is why soccer is popular and why only a few % of people can play the real mans games like AFL and Rugby
Met him with chopper years ago. Love his honesty and how he always gave Sam a hard time. Great personality wish he was still on tv not sure how this generation would view him although 😆
I worked with his sister at Denny's in Dandenong she lived in Hampton Park and Jacko lived in near Park Orchards at the time and on a property and he spoke out against the the football going to be like a business
G'day ROGUE4477, glad to read you enjoyed it. cheers Gezza p.s sorry due to copyright RU-vid have requsted i remove most of my 1400 uploads [Which including everything on Australian music,Footy, people and places}. Uploads that will potentially never be seen again unless there brought out on DVD, though thats dominated by US & UK products imported to Australia.
Geelong played Norwood in a pre season night series in 85 at Football Park...there was a dedicated end to end 'mob' of younger SANFL fans who cheered or booed him standing on Craig Balme(who had given Jacko a hard slap)during their stanza on the night....
So good to see him for the first time not yelling. As a kid I used to hide whenever he came on the energiser ads. His face alone is scary to a kid but his aggression just made him a total ogre.
Sam was humorously responding to Jacko (not Trev behind the bar) Sam’s timing with his banter was second to none, he always knew when to joke and when to take things seriously. In today’s world it’s a different story of course, with the nit wits ruling the airwaves.
There was a strong rumour going round years ago that Sam J. Jones put a beating on Jacko on the set of The Highwayman for being a cocky big mouth. Anyone else hear that rumour back in the day?
