Me too Normand, I've listening him since 1979 with Sultans of swing, and have all Dire Straits vinil albuns. Unfortunatelly never seen him live as he didn't came to Brazil. Thank you All.

Que bom! É realmente uma sorte poder vê-lo de perto. Queria ter podido apreciar assim também. Mas infelizmente não tive essa oportunidade. Fico feliz que você realizou seu desejo e ficou satisfeito. Nós temos razão em admira-lo ele é um músico entanto. De vários talentos. Ele orquestrar e administrar uma banda assim é difícil . Não ê pra qualquer músico. Tem que ser muito bom. Não é ? Mas o que marca mais nele é a voz e seu jeito único de tocar sua guitarra e o amor que tem por ela e também a sua sensibilidade em tocar. Concorda? Muitos tocam . Tem suas técnicas e até são considerados guitarristas entre os melhores . Mas nenhum jamais toca a alma daqueles que o escutam . Porque o sentimento em tocar não brota junto. Tocam somente e mostram sua agilidade e estudo . Sua técnica. Mas , esse instrumento tocado com a alma tem outro valor. Você consegue me entender. Parece que ele já nasceu tocando música e grudado com a guitarra. Parece que ela fala , canta e chora nas mãos dele. E é lindo de se ver. E suas músicas e sua voz acalmam e nos transportam para coisas boas. Eu quando assisto daqui posso estar estressada do jeito que for. Que me vem uma paz . Enfim ele é um maestro e um músico excelente. E um homem de muitas qualidades que tem amor ao próximo também. Você também o vê assim ? Porisso te disse que Você é um sortudo mesmo. I have seen Mark in Australia in 1980, and, the Brothers in Arms Tour in 1985., In Brisbane. Still an amazing artist.

According to the comments I read on this channel, I would say that you are the luckiest among us. So many times you had the opportunity to be at both Dire Straits and Mark's concerts. I congratulate you on that. That's a lot of luck!!!🌟🎸🌟🎧🙋‍♀️

@@spomenkazlokolica3061 Thanks for the nice comments. I did get to see a bunch of great shows. Sometimes, there was more than luck involved. One had to go to great pains--and deal with scalpers. On the Brothers in Arms Tour in the summer of 1985, I had to wait in line overnight to get 4th row, center section seats. Also, I had to deal with poor folks that were hired by ticket scalpers(it was illegal at this time in Texas). The scalpers wouldn't give the money to those people until they got to the point of buying the tickets(limit of 4). Those sorry SOBs paid those poor homeless people very little money so that the scalpers could go re-sell the tickets(face value $5!!!) for $50. I got so mad at those scalpers for getting the best seats. At least I still got two great seats. Times were different then. I was 27. Now I am 64. Time flies.

@@gearsau I saw those two DS tours. They were the best ones. I have seen a video on RU-vid of that Brisbane show that you saw. It is great! There are a couple of shows from Australia and New Zealand on RU-vid.
