Mark Knopfler , I want to say you : you're the best and forever you will, I was like 15 years when I discovered Dire Strait in 80's with my youngest brother I lost because of cancer, your music made him happy and dance even he was sick. May God protects you Mark and your team, and God bless the soul of my brother, amen.

About Mark Knopfler I've written this before, but I make a point of reproducing my definition of the “Guitar Wizard, who I consider a genius and a complete artist. By seeing and listening to his compositions and his performance on stage, we can perfectly identify his exceptional and unparalleled gifts and talents. The artist stood out for sound effects with special technical expertise, as a guitarist, composer and singer of greatest hits. By analogy, talking about his technical mastery is equivalent to saying that he is the very personification of an entire symphony orchestra, reflected in the ability to harmonize, mobilize, coordinate and lead his band, which is made up of talented and multi-instrumentalists, who also feature attracting and delighting crowds around the world. Undoubtedly, he is the greatest guitarist of all time and his guitar represents the extension of his body, his creative talent, his sensibility and feelings, which can be recognized in the rhythms of various musical genres, immortalized by several generations. I started as a Dire Straits fan, lost some years, and then discovered that the music was still there -- it just wasn't Dire Straits anymore. You are such an amazing talent! How do you get the inspiration to write so many songs? It blows my mind how multidimensional you are. There seems to be no end to your talents whether it's writing songs or playing one of your many guitars! I think that's why I like to travel with you -- start with Dire Straits when I leave home and arrive with Mark! Keep playing Mark and your fans will keep listening and loving what you do! ♥

MK has got to be the most underrated guitarist of all time. The man has unique style and presence. Easily #1 in my book.

Never get tired of listening to this guy and I listen to him everyday. Let's all be grateful that Mark's father got him that guitar all of those years ago. Best in the business. Truly hoping that he's composing some new stuff amidst this crisis, we could a hefty dose of his literary ingenuity at a time like this similar to what Dylan has released.

This is the song .. The Way it Is … that totally blew me away in 1985 I believe when I was in Montreal .. I bought the record .. and a set of 100 watt speakers .. I played that album many times .. I’ve never been taken to another world like this through music … which is why I believe Mark is the number one master of artistic style in musical history ..
