Christmas in the Summer; what a treat for this aging grunge lover! Recently opened a Christmas gift I received 20+ years ago, Songs for the Deaf by QOTSA featuring Mark Lanegan on 4 tracks. I had to hear more so I have only this year been indulging my hallowed out soul with all of Mark's Screaming Trees and solo works and love performances. What a gift for me 🎄 💀 🎁 🔥 🪵

Possibly the best Christmas album ever recorded. Love it, play little else in the month of December.

1st December 2022 and it's time to listen to this beauty again. I've been enjoying this every year since 2012....Christmas can be a dark time for me...this album never fails me.

I didn’t realize this was updated. I started tripping out when I heard the new songs. It’s a Christmas miracle!

This guy could sing a Tyrolean song.... It rest THE GREATEST.... Incomparable.... Long life rock and roll..

His memoir a couple of weeks ago, and now this gospel from Mark Lanegan, wraps up this fucked up year of 2020 so nicely.

I just love the tone of his voice with that slight rasping quality - it's fabulous.
