You know I saw this when it was on the Disney Channel sometime from 1988-1990. As a child I was into everything Disney but I never realized that it was actually Punky Brewster who played the young woman in this special. It wasn't until about three years ago when I read it someplace online that I found out it was her, and was quite shocked I hadn't thought of it sooner since she was such an awesome icon of the great 80s!
