This is the first time I played a Sega CD game and whilst this game looks really good and fun to play, it's not very easy! The stages don't offer much health nor ammo and there's too many traps and enemies trying to kill you. This game is probably better experienced by just watching the video rather than attempting it yourself. Nonetheless I had a fun time playing through this and I'm curious about what the rest of the Sega CD games are like.
I remember buying my Sega Genesis system, and then getting the Sega-CD💿. I was so amazed with this system. I remember spending my paychecks on game after game after game. Some were great, some eh, some were 💩, and some were really amazing but hard as heck to play! I also remember getting 🏰Castle🏰 of Illusion, starring Mickey Mouse. Another epic game! These were great times!
I know that Jon Burton did a lot of projects, but to me this remains his best work in the Industry. A really amazing game that translated quite well in all the platforms it was released in, all content cuts aside. You can see some of the programming tricks he did (all the pseudo-3D effects in the 16-bit SEGA ports) in his RU-vid channel, GameHut.
