I love his story of breaking car mirrors on "This Is Not Happening" He tells it with so much energy that you feel the adrenaline he's describing. Best episode I've seen!

For real. I used to casually watch the VMAs when I was a kid but around 2010 or something like that I completely quit tuning in altogether. Surprised it still around honestly. There’s no fucking music videos barely anymore so why am I watching anybody perform? And literally every single performance has some kind of illuminati spin to it anyways
So, mark is just reuploading clips other people stole from him, and put on youtube . Thats why it's "savage mark normand" or a thumbnail with an explanation xD I love it
Hell yeah he's taking his content back from the countless thieves running rampant on youtube. If anyone deserves the clicks and ad revenue, it's the person who created the content, not the person who stole it and repackaged it. I wish more celebs would start doing this, then less people would be likely to steal stuff.
@@roymakescomics At one point I collected dozens of clips to make a "All Mark Normand on Morning Shows" video because nobody else compiled them yet and I just wanted to be able to watch all my favorite morning show appearances without scanning through a bunch of videos to find them all. Would you guys consider that theft too? What about all the joe rogan clip channels?
I would've been dying laughing because to me, Mark is still funny when he bombs. Coupled with the fact that the next podcast stories was gonna be great.
Especially on Rogan, dude can literally say one word, not a one liner, but one word and make me laugh so damn hard. The casual "semen" after the cough, it's just beautiful
The hidden beauty of his appearances on Jim and Sam is there uncanny ability to lure him in. They bait him to retell his bad jokes and then they slam him every time. A few appearances ago they tricked him into embarrassing himself with Seinfeld and it ruled.

I like normand and his comedy a lot, but I can see how he could be an acquired taste. A gig like the VMA's is not a good fit for him. His comedy is an avalanche of humor, he is dry and goes from joke to joke to joke so quick, without even putting a "hard sell" on any of them, that you dont even get a chance to realize how funny they are till he is halfway thru the next joke. Its definitely a "bang for the the buck" routine, you just literally dont get time to laugh. I dig it though.
A good portion of his material would fly right over the heads of the vapid mouthbreathers in that audience anyway. Way too self obsessed to pay attention, way too stupid to understand.
This is def correct but as a huge fan I actually do want that breath. His last special ruled but if he slowed a little I'd love to hear the late laughs on his more subtle stuff once the slower people in the crowd catch the funny wave.
I just want to thank Mark for sharing these awesome experiences. He has crazy confidence to bomb and keep getting back out there. It sure created some hilarious material after the fact. Reaching for J-Lo 😂

Honestly it's a fat paycheck that ensures happiness in even the worst-case scenario, I am assuming. Mark wins for it not being televised. He got his money so who needs an apology?

Mark, don’t be so hard on yourself, man. You’re not a nobody. I’ve watched at least a dozen of your videos on You Tube, or close to it. You definitely made it; you just have to keep going. MTV should’ve communicated better- that would’ve helped, even with your outfit. It was shitty of them, but maybe they didn’t bother just because it wasn’t televised. In a way, they relied on you to alleviate their last-minute craziness. Hopefully, next year they’ll call you back (in advance!) to host the whole show! And, at double or triple the salary (or quadruple!) . . . Oh, you remind me of the first dude I ever got-with, just funnier & more confident! ; P

Once Mark left the building if they'd drop the nuke from this picture on to it then Hollywood showbiz might gain a bit of respect. At least the IQ of the industry would balance out in our favor. Slightly.
