As the overly paranoid person I am I totally made note of the multiple times Mark has mentioned he kept loads of cash in his drawer and thought how I hoped he would never be robbed because of it. The fact that there were other tenets that were robbed might mean he wasn’t targeted based of this knowledge. Just be careful what you share (and with who). Ultimately it’s sad this happened to Mark. He didn’t deserve this regardless of why he was targeted. I hope this never happens again and he implements more deterrents to protect himself.
Girlfriend. Why? Because of the coffee table. If she had come home and the door wasn't blocked, She would only have known the window was open. She wouldn't have known you were robbed. Saying the table was in front of the door was her excuse to know that you've been robbed.

Yeah, we ran into that problem when i went to buy a house for 25k in cash. the realtor was takin back. same when i went to pay for a new roof and wiring in cash. youd think someone would want 14k in cash for a roof instead of a check. idk.
@@DevilsAvocado69 dude. for real. you deposit 10k and the bank HAS to tell the gov. not to mention when the world goes to shit like last year, sometimes you cant even access your own money in a bank. im on disability so i cant have over 2k in the bank. i have to be very careful about my finances.
3 hour window between 830am and 1130am as the girlfriend was aware when she arrived. Inside job and girlfriend is a suspect. Mark has also said she's been ignoring him lately. Mark is a dummy and ignorant about certain things. Mark needs to be single and be smarter with women.
I live in Wyoming. No one would break in to my house. Oh, and since you had a lot of cash, the cops now think you're a drug dealer. The fact that he stole only cash, doesn't mean he's a pro, a junkie might do that too. Cash = smack. Laptop = requires work to turn into money. I've been robbed to, when I lived in San Fran, it sucks. Oh, you should backup your data weekly by encrypting it and emailing it to a Gmail or something like that. Then if you lose your laptop, you've got it all.

Best friend I knew since pre school kicked in my door for stems and seeds. I had just moved out so my parents called the cops and blamed me. Didn't have evidence to arrest me but didn't help our relationship. Cause a huge family beef for years. Extended family included. Funny thing is my sister said she saw my friend standing across the street, told the cop, and the cop got pissed she was trying to blame someone else. 15 min later cop calls back and says "oh yeah I saw that guy too." Can't trust no one but your dogs.

If you listen carefully it's so obvious it's the girlfriend. She's standing in the hall in shirt & panties when he gets home? Asked why would she be in panties ? Cuz she just got home and changed and was chilling. Really? After walking in and realizing they were just robbed, she takes off her pants to relax on the sofa ? No, you leave the apt immediately and call Mark and the police. Hasn't happened since, right ? She got away with it once, don't press her luck.

As brilliantly witty as Mark is, WHY IN THE NAME OF FUCK didn’t you at least buy a safe to store your cash in??? @@xiusha1992 So you would trust a friend you had for 5 years with thousands of dollars? The only people I trust like that is family. Even then I could give links to hundreds of stories where parents rob their children or siblings who have killed each other over inheritance. My point is you don't trust anyone with that kind of money unless you are wanting to be robbed.
Mark, you should hang out with Bill Burr more and pick up his remarkable way of telling a story and leaving all the info for the psychos outta of it. Just saying
