Daniele Berardelli, you are a legend. You did your best friend proud on that witness stand. I wish I could have known Teresa. You are one of the lucky few.
She was awesome and a tribute to their friendship. So brave in her testimony even with the dirt bag sitting right there. Scribbling away. Stupid looks on his face. Ugh!!
Daniele sounds so upset and is trying to keep her composure. She's so brave for coming forward and having to relive what happened and how horrible that was.
The ONLY positive thing I'll say about Chris Watts is he spared tax payers, families, etc a trial. Unlike this clown who is so obviously guilty just as Watts was.
Never doubt the God-given intuition of a woman. These doubts, fears, and impressions of Mark are valuable testimony because it shows Marks behaviors and priority after his wife's murder.
Listening to her best friend speak of her moved me to tears. She’s holding tears back to stay strong and I’m so thankful she was able to clearly and so perfectly testify against the evil that Mark is
"If anything happens to me, come to Florida and get the girls." He wasn't talking about being arrested. He was setting up his escape strategy, so he could disappear with his dead wife's life insurance and leave someone else with the responsibility of raising his daughters.
This woman was so credible. When she was describing Mark’s words and actions after the murder I found myself saying out loud “Dude! Could you have acted more guilty if you tried”?! Mark is very obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. It appears that he had fooled everyone around him with his “nice guy” facade and he was overconfident that he could play the innocent, grieving husband. Fortunately he failed miserably and now sits on death row which is exactly where he belongs.
This lawyer is literally not qualified to defend this case. The prosecution is the one who brought it up. The court determined this lawyer could be used only if he had a lead above him. Interestingly enough, Mark insisted on this lawyer. He even signed a waiver that he can't appeal on the grounds of inefficient counsel.
Here’s a very thoughtful, intuitive lady. She picked up on all the unusual nuances that struck her as odd, remembered them, clearly interpreted them and let the jury know.
The defense attorney really needs to get control of his physical reactions. His overall body language is so annoying. I understand trial attorneys have a flair for the dramatic; but, this attorney is over reactive with his physical gestures and he is not engaging.
He would do a better job if he tries to be intimidating rather than dramatic. Imagine him standing in one position, gripping the podium, staring over his glasses, speaking slower and articulating his words better. He would need to phrase his questions better but even without that, he'd look less unprepared.
Folsom Anna you are so right. Living With the Devil and didn't know it, didn't know what was going to happen to her because of an evil greedy lazy man that was supposed to love and protect her.
He’s a buffoon. He’s not a defense attorney. He is some kind of business attorney and is not qualified to defend a murderer or defend someone on a death penalty trial. From what I understand the State even tried to dissuade the defendant using this attorney. He’s trying to discredit all of the states witnesses by twisting each persons actual statements. These are professional well educated people and Marc Sievers doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
How many of Dr. Sievers friends did he ask to be guardians? Imagine that conversation once all her friends were aware of each of them being asked to be the girls guardians.
From what I understand he lost custody of the children when he was sentenced to death. There is a video clip which I have not seen yet. But I’ve seen this in the various comments in this trial.
Imagine...someone had to tell them their Dad is never coming home because he's going to prison for killing their Mom? Wow. Horrible for them. A lot of therapy awaits them.
There is nothing like a mother, children need their mother and he did this to his own children because of greed. He clearly shows he cares more for himself than those 2 children.
The defence rattled her a bit; but nothing that really destroyed her credibility. The point about not believing ones best friend was capable of such an act was compelling to a degree.
Unfortunatly we are missing huge puzzle pieces like the relationship Mark and Teresa had. How was their marriage? What were theirs struggles? With the information that is available i can only deduct that the reason behind her murder was she was indeed leaving him and he hadn't worked in years, he would lose the children as well as his income from his wife. He would prolly end up on the streets.
None of that matters its all about money. Theres plentt of cases where a spouse kills a spouse to get money and people say they never fought they seemed loving ectect. Well guess what sometimes it just dont fn matter. Idk if youve wqtched the entire trial but she wae going to leave him also. So theres that.
It speaks volumes he won’t look at her friends face, as she recounted conversations about guardianship…he’s so guilty…may he get what he deserves for taking dr Teresa rip
candid moment right at the end (1:12:50) when judge mentions someone (one of us maybe?) complained about the sound of chewing gum in a microphone.. Thank you Judge for considering the broadcast quality.. :)
It wasn’t one of us. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He meant one of the sound guys on the camera crews. He’s does not care about broadcast quality, he cares about the professional relationships in his daily life, and is more than happy to help out a colleague in the press.
I really hope that his girls want nothing to do with him. Not even visit him in jail.He does not deserve them nor their love. Every time state ask a question after cross from defence, you can see defence lawyer thinking, “damn another hole in my cross” . Quite frankly, I think defence has had enough, and it shows.
@@Patricia-kb5qv They have their grandmothers and aunts, uncles, etc possibly, hopefully. And each other. However, they need their mother. And as they grow up missing their mother, especially at important things like proms and first heartbreaks..... they will remember their dad took that away from them. Definitely needs to be a lot of prayers going around. So sad, such a useless crime. Mark Sievers seems to me to continuously have that "I cannot believe I got caught" face. That is, when he is not doing that fake crying.
A sadistic, and callous murdee of an individual who had so much ahead her. What business did murderers have to take anothers life. Give them all the death penalty. 😢
Anyone who wants to know how Mark Sievers was while he lived next door to me could ask. He sold us his house after he built the house they used to live in next door. Disgusting how he was so odd but kind of a family man to the point where it was a tad creepy how much time and what he would do with his young daughters.
It sounds like Sievers thought he still owned your house, creeping around your yard and peeking in windows. But you don't have to worry about him anymore. lol
the defense attorney did not even greet Ms Beradelli, went immediately into attack mode.... and he doesn't wish these witnesses to be retained... doesn't want them back on the stand... ah, but he did greet Ms Torres .... and her he wishes retained
Man, that defence guy uses a line of questioning which allowed the neighbor to describe how she thinks Mark is a creep, she feels safer that he’s in prison etc! You want a jury to hear THAT?? What a blunder! It didn’t even get him any benefit!
He didn’t pay any attention to the witnesses like he wasn’t concerned by the trial!if you are innocent you ll be attentive and concerned by what happened
Taito Rani That could be true. She’s the defense attorney for Jimmy Rodgers. She acted like a bitch at his trial. First time I have seen an attorney show up like that.
@@carolv8450 Mark Sievers is a bum. When caught red handed, he should plead guilty and hope for the best. When caught stealing sweets with your hand in the candy jar, plead guilty. He is a wicked man.
The defense atty is cringe-worthy. Every question is asked like a gotchyu. “Sooo you’re trying to TELL this jury that YOUR NAME is Daniele, correct?” Spastic arm movements, check off the legal pad, and click click of the pen for effect.
On dirait que le procès ne le concerne pas!il regarde jamais les témoins comme si c était quelqu’un d autre l accusé!si tu étais innocent tu écouterais les témoins et ferait tout pour être attentif
What a dreadful defence he seems like an amateur! His questioning was pathetic unlike the prosecution who were slick and executed with style and professional clear and concise. They showed clearly that mark was involved in his wifes death.
So FINALLY we're getting to the evidence against Sievers! So far its all been about the murder itself, not him arranging it. This is getting interesting at last The evidence from her friends is very odd - he's arranged the murder then virtually 'fesses up straight away? Doesn't make any sense unless he regretted it.....
I don't understand why the defense didn't ask either of these witnesses about if he thought his friend was innocent why would he be asking why he would've done it.
Even the attorneys didn’t write as much has him!he just want looked smart intelligent and the jury believe that he had nothing to do with the crime! He doesn’t have the courage to look the witnesses in the eyes!he s a coward!
I found the picture that Mummert is making a big deal about it and it’s Curtis Wright although it looks IDENTICAL to Mark! I had to have my husband to look at it to determine for sure! Lol
You know he's guilty bc he has not once looked at someone testifying that he has known for years. If you're innocent then you should not have a problem looking at them bc you don't feel ashamed. He's ashamed! And he's just twirling his pen around. He's rarely writing things that mean something.
This Judge looks exhausted..... Can you imagine listening to all this, all day.... Omg, the poor man..... .. and on another point - what do the partners of the men killing a friends wife with hammers think of them now? Goodness, the mind boggles
She is definitely with the defense. The follicle challenged defense lawyer has been turning around as if to say "did I ask all the questions I needed to". She nods a lot in their direction.
@@elizabethholmes458 I see she works with the firm. I just also found attorney's facebook page and she actually looks she's married to him. (jennifer Mummert) Poor Girl.
Beradella, she says ,Mark was saying he was worried he was going to be arrested for the murder 2 days after the death of Theresa, but how could he say that ,and how could she ,state that in court when he and she knew, that he was away at the time of the murder.
Is that correct? Ok.. over ad over and over again. I wouldn’t let this clown defend me for j-walking! He makes Nurmi look like Perry Mason. Is that correct? Ok…
Même les avocats n écrivent pas autant que lui!Il veut juste avoir l’air intelligent et n a même pas le courage de regarder les témoins dans les yeux!c est un lâche!
Yeah I’m her son and they owned our house then built the one next sorry. After building the new one they then sold us this one after moving into the one next door. Very crazy seeing this all happen in the matter of days. I didn’t even realize the seriousness until a police officer came to the door asking us if we had cameras and letting us know our neighbor had passed. Can’t believe mark ended up trying to hide out behind our shed when the police came to catch him (They caught him there). Just Disgusting
