This doctor is absolutely amazing!! He speaks in such a manner that anyone can understand what he is saying. I worked for the courts for 13 years and I have never listened to testimony by a doctor I found so interesting. Very sad situation but he was very thorough with every answer. Society is a better place with him in it!!
That pathologist in the Nathaniel Rowlands murder case was super bad to with extended knowledge in all those degrees in medicine that the brain can hold amazing, the attorney asked pathologist to name his degrees amazing a horrible horrific case though

I feel so horrible for Teresa’s daughters. I can’t imagine growing up knowing my dad put a hit on my mom. And now their father’s whole trial is everywhere for those two girls to watch. So so so sad. Mark is a selfish POS!
I do too and he keeps lying so they might think he's innocent they should have them watch the trial when they get older and then decide what they think
I hope they never accidentally run across the trial or have their curiosity get the best of them. they don't need to hear these things. I just cant imagine anyone thinking killing their childrens mother is a good idea. just horrific

I don’t agree. While this ME was excellent, the women witnesses from the FBI trace evidence unit (fibers, DNA) had the most difficult information to relate in this trial, and they both were stars, especially the scientist who had to explain mitochondrial DNA to the jury. She did a fantastic job in pulling out the most critical evidence to explain, while saying nothing about non-essential details. No only that, but the evidence the women presented was critical to proving the conspiracy and murder as described by Curtis Wayne Wright, as it corroborated his testimony as to the three murderers and conspirators.
Dr Coyne is so articulate & most of all a terrific communicator.Sievers is giving me the💩s as usual. He’s a terrible actor but he just keeps on trying🤬 He’s trying my patience 🙄

This nxt part is def true though-Prosecutors objected to him representing def bc he’s not death penalty qualified but Mark insisted & even had to sign a waiver saying he wouldn’t appeal based on ineffective assistance of counsel.
@@maryb6672this would make sense after listening to his line of questioning. I read later he is a divorce attorney and not qualified as a death sentence attorney at all. This would give Sievers an opportunity to claim ineffective counsel. It’s a good thing Sievers had to sign a document stating he refused appropriate counsel.

I personally think in cases like this, the photos should definitely be published so the defendant has to see what he was responsible for. I just finished the Jodi Arias trial, and she was forced to see ALL photos of the decedent. No mercy.

I have such incredible regard for these doctors. They see things that, quite honestly, would ruin me. I could not get past seeing horrific things. I don’t know how they do it.

I have yet to see a medical examiner or forensic pathologist in a trial who wasn’t top notch (trials in Georgia [one of the best ever], Florida, Arizona, California, Utah, Wisconsin, Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania, as I can remember offhand). As a professional body, they seem to communicate their ethical standards in such a way that their physicians all over the county _whom I have watched in trials_ are 100% invested.
You know a defendant is guilty when they just keep on sipping water or writing in their note pad while the death examiner or coroner is talking about their deceased spouse. It’s obvious.
I often wonder in a situation such as this where the husband murders wife does her headstone bear the name of her murderer (Sievers) or do they revert back to her maiden name? I can't imagine why any family dealing with this type of nightmare would want to ever hear the name mentioned again.
Good question. If the name is not legally changed at time of burial, prob keeps married name. I wonder if the family will have the daughters’ names changed , I would.

Apparently the Defence attorney is a Divorce attorney who handled Marks divorce and obviously never handled a criminal or a death penalty case before. Mark wanted him so the Mark had to sign a waiver saying that he would not Pursue any legal action towards the lawyer if he was found guilty and given the DP! The prosecution was not happy!
Mark's attempt on crying was never successful. Simultaneously defense atty calling prosecutors' evidence & witnesses self-serving isn't just successful but also a BAD joke. Not to mention these prosecutors're both thorough.

What are the odds that the defendant, his attorney, his co-defendant, the ME, and so far I think one other witness are bald on top with buzzed sides and back? They could be brothers! I had a hard time in the beginning keeping up with who's who.

What is the point defence counsel is trying to make? he is making it so much uglier and difficult for the victim's family than it needs to be. Nobody is alleging that Sievers actually swung the hammer so what is the point?????
