I like Dr Sesta. He makes it very easy to understand what he sees and why. You gotta give it to him!

Janet Wyatt Also he has a great morality: 'there are no whoops in these cases". Absolutely right!!! I am so glad the prosecution gave him the opportunity to say that in re-direct.

As a fellow clinical psychologist I am thoroughly impressed with Dr Sesta. His qualifications and pedigree are unassailable. His easy way of explaining complicated clinical and research concepts in layman's language without demeaning or expecting the jury to know his field shows his teaching background.

This defense attorney did a great job. I really can appreciate how he laid this case out.

🙄 People need to stop being victims. Alot of us whom endured terrible childhoods/life struggles use it to better our lives. We don't murder people. I'm so tired of childhood trauma, overly diagnosed ptsd, bad crap happening to people, being used as an excuse for felonious behavior.

I’m glad that we have these professionals. There is no harm in understanding the “Why”?

That's very judgmental of you. The way people think has a direct effect on the decisions they make. If you don't think right you won't act right according to what's accepted in society. Mental health and crime ( & it's punishment) are directly related. It's not just a card to play. Trauma affects individuals differently.

@@nikkyluv2244 I think ML did snap how do you get angry at people for having mental illness. This wasn’t brought up as a reason he committed the crimes they wouldn’t allow the information to be shared with the jury until after he was convicted. Weird take on their part.

Both these doctors got it right using their own methods of testing. Well done.

Is the simple question, "Does the defendant know right from wrong?", not applicable?

Be still my heart. This quadruple board-certified expert in neuro psychology is fascinating. Guessing his fee is minimum 5K per half day portal to portal. 📝

Markeith is definitely unbalanced but he knew right from wrong. He carried guns because he dealt drugs...he continued his entire life Breaking the law. Hope he gets help in prison where he should stay for the rest of his unproductive life.

I too think he's very handsome and comes across as very well read. I could listen to a clever person lecture all day.

Life imprisonment without parole. Doubt anyone with half a brain will give him the death penalty.

We can't visualize the work he is doing if the very wide lawyer is standing in front of the whiteboard. They couldn't use a power point presentation. The doctor's handwriting is illegible.

The reality is 4 hours is never enough to get an overview of an individual, that is one reason a FBI behavioral health specialist will spend as much time the subject allows them to. 4 hours always ends with sympathy poor child analysis. Should Mr. Loyd receive mental health treatment, that specialist will do an in depth evaluation before initiating course treatment. Some of these supposed specialist are getting challenged by private medical specialist groups/boards/associations and legal professions as bias to the tune of money (your tax dollars used to contradict 1 or the other, get your monies worth).
