You all just want to take away all his rights under your Constitution and the International Treaty of Human Rights to a fair trial and to due process, which includes introduction of mitigating circumstances. This man is facing the death penalty (which in any event places you guys at odds with the International Treaty!!!). Let him have his due process. He committed heinous acts. We all know that. He will never leave prison. Surely that is enough. Why murder him? Enough pain. His family aren't perpetrators. Why should they suffer the loss? You're all ridiculous vicious people with an Old Testament belief system which is totally inappropriate.
@@sarahdrenth1540 These are the laws of our country. There are lots of other countries where he would have been immediately executed. He got a fair trial. He was judged guilty by a jury of common people. This phase is also part of our process. Obviously you don't live in the US. Nobody is taking away any of his rights. He probably has more rights in this country than any other.

You're not prepared to consider that the criminal justice system in some of your States might be archaic. There are many many Western civilised nations out there you know which do it much much better. I have no sympathy for this defendant. But I do have issues with the Death Penalty and with people who don't want defendants to have rights. That's all.
