I'm not sure about markeloff's cfg, but I think he used 640x480 and Large like most of pro players. Recoil is not affected by either resolution or crosshair size, but you can find it easier to control on lower resolutions. It's all about preferences and adapting. Things you shouldn't use are 16:9/16:10 format of resolution. They got smaller FOV and that's disadvantage (4:3 is optimal for CS 1.6 + on most 60hz LCD monitors you can use 75hz while playing with 4:3 res). Hope it helps.
His mouse settings was 400dpi, 6.0 windows without mouse precision, 2.1 sensitivity ingame, 0.98 zoom_sensitivity and he used -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd, is a low sens, but if you play DM you can adjust your wrist and your aim
I am a professional cs go player.....I played in international tournaments and also won a few.... I put all my attention while playing cs go. I play around 11hrs daily and also play some mobile games. Yesturday I just took a break and played cs1.6 and css for 3 hrs each. I started crying while playing. This two games shaped my childhood. During childhood, I played cod 1, 2 , IGI 1 ,2, James bond, roadrash, Prince of Persia and many other legendary and unforgottable games.
For you guys that are saying "RIP CS 1.6" you are wrong,you have thousands of servers even today,you choose will you play crappy money hungry csgo or this timeless game :)
Even I had opinions like you 2 years ago. But after all my friends shifted to csgo, even I gave it a try and no doubt GO is totally better than 1.6! Recoils in 1.6 are pretty broke and pistols and smg are kinda useless. But GO has pretty much balanced weapons. Edit: money hungry only if u go for skins

His flickshots were insane and his preccisiion with his scope too. I never saw an awper do his job as good as markeloff. Not even guardian or kennys can use awp like he used to do. So sad he is retired

+Danieltan_95 1.6 was different, maybe a bit easier but it's hard to say. CS:GO has surely harder aiming (smaller hitboxes + less first shot accuracy), but on the other hand it got much more randomness (jump shots, quite high accuracy while moving etc.). Some players that were good in 1.6 are much worse in GO (markeloff, neo), but some players that were unkown in 1.6 can actually play on highest CSGO level (for example whole fnatic team).
csgo is nothing to compare with 1.6. you can compare go with source maybe. 1.6 was a much more skill relied game, because you could reach more effieceny via smooth movement with rusduck, strafejump etc. and i have to disagree, aiming was much more difficult / harder to learn and control than in csgo. the only downdraft was the old engine itself which made it easier to cheat and manipulate the cfg.
I'm a fan of Alternate back then... they were considred the dark horses that rose up and became champions for one solid year straight. it was an Alternate year!
Why did markeloof leaved NA`VI ? Was there was conflict between them? Did Edward betray markeloof ? Is he playing cs:go or 1.6? Plz answer my questions. Regards,
TBH I have no idea why markeloff left Na'Vi - maybe he thought that Astana Dragons (now HellRaisers) will be better team as Na'Vi didn't have much success at the beginning of CS:GO. And of course markeloff is playing cs:go, everyone is now playing cs:go, because there's absolutely no reason to play CS 1.6 (no tournaments at all and majority of non-pro 1.6 players switched to cs:go anyway).
What is his resolution and chrosshair size? Is it true that 640x480 is better than others because the recoil is smaller? And does chrosshair size affect on recoil or not ? :)
+Reuben Magee Even though the comparison is totally irrelevant, I wouldn't be surprised if, at the end of CSGO, we will look back at KennyS' accomplishments and say: "Wow, he surpassed Markeloff". KennyS was in absolute Godmode for a while and you can't deny that it would ATLEAST come close to this..
good to have 1.7 that has exact controls and settings like 1.6 via aiming strafe jump etc.. and the only thing that will change is the graphics thats all unlike csgo
can you tell me how to install car size sight be at makerlofa and not just a small percent of me is in cs 1.6 Nisan kid did not take into account mean as has makerlof
