As a crocheter starting an online shop that is flopping…don’t discredit yourself. You still went out there and did the dang thing! Your videos are refreshing because of how real you are! No one can predict the outcomes! I’m surely not disappointed at all ❤

As a fellow crafter and small business owner, I really appreciate how REAL you are in your videos. Often on Socials, all you ever see are the people showing their reels and bragging about making thousands of dollars at a market. Really, for the vast majority of us, those numbers are just not feasible. So, it is refreshing to have someone give real numbers that I feel, for me, are closer to what I could expect to do in my area. Kind of jealous you had a nice day for the 4th of July week, we only got a small reprieve on Friday morning when some rain came in. It was absolutely AMAZING, but as usual, short-lived. I am NOT a summer girl at all...

Hi!!! I just wanted to say, please never ever feel like you have to apologize or discredit yourself for putting yourself out there, especially after doing all of this hard work! I'm a crochet artist as well, and I actually found the courage to apply to my first markets because I came across your account! I think that you're so aspiring, and despite facing all of these obstacles, I admire how strong you are to not let those things stop you from doing something that you love! I feel like people continue to follow you and watch you grow not because you are successful, but because they love who you are and what you are doing! I think it's such a reality check that this is what majority of artists face but we don't realize it because we tend to only share or post our accomplishments and not our hardships. I think we need to normalize how being an artist and having markets isn't easy and isn't always going to be successful financially. But I still see your events as successful, because you're continuously learning how to improve each time!! It's not easy, but you are growing and YOU WILL FIND YOUR MARKET!! ❤

Keep your head up! You are doing great and haven’t even gone through a fall season yet, you have so much inventory girl I am sure you will find an event where you SELL OUT or really come close. I thought I was the only one who thought of putting mini crochet items for my booth in that type of claw machine 😂😂😂😂😂 I made little keychains for it specifically! It’s so cute!! Excited to see how people react to it at the booth because it’ll be so fun and interactive

There is no way anyone can know the outcome of any market. We always take that gamble when signing up for them, but we all love doing them. Which is why I love watching other crocheters do market content. It’s relatable experience and we can always learn new things and better ways to market through our community. Love your videos. I feel like we are all still learning. I've only been doing events for a couple of years now. Some events I do really well at and others I either break even or go in the hole. For those, still take away a positive. For me, it's practicing the set up, socializing and networking. Also gives me a chance to see what other crocheters/crafters are making. Don't give up.

Glad you are very honest and open about your experiences at markets. I live in Tennessee and I have had the same some very very bad markets. It makes me feel like I'm not alone. I have felt like a total failure. Still trying to learn my customer base.

it's ok girl don't feel discouraged i've had some crochet market flops that i've discussed in some of my vlogs 😭 it definitely sucks when you're taking your time and energy to be at these events but hopefully your love for crochet overpowers those feelings 😢

My first year being a vendor I did every market in my area. It was like 25 different markets and some were great some were terrible. After that I knew which ones were the good ones and now only do the 3 that are really good! It’s all a trail and error process.

Goo goo goods sells in Orlando and she’s had quite a few disappointments lately and finally 🎉🎉🎉 at market for makers - you’ll get there - I’ve had a string of no need to go back events - I always have a great time with my kids though so you live and learn 😅😊❤

Advice that’s really helpful for me is I market at events that happen regularly in my area most happen like 1st Saturday every month in the same place not sure if your area host markets like that but if they do forsure try there !! 🤍
