Field testing and review of the Marmot Sawtooth down sleeping bag.
I built a bivouac in the snow and tried it out in temperatures down to -9 centigrade/16 Fahrenheit.
I slept in a snow bivouac with the sleeping bag inside a bivvy bag, wearing thermal underwear.
It worked very well and I wasn't cold at all.
Note - I am not affiliated with Marmot and do not get any kick backs, this is just a consumer to consumer review.

Kul att höra! Jag är fortfarande supernöjd med den. Funkade i vintras och har funkat på många tältningar i sommar (fast oftast öppen).

Really nice review which broadly covered lots. Thank you 🙂🙂🙂. PS I'm in the UK (damper/more humid) with less extremes of cold than Canada or North America. I hope it'll be okay for mid to late Autumn wild camps in my Bivvy and/or tent - with, obv, an air mattress.

Thank you! I'm in Sweden which is also a little damp, but can get very cold. I have used the sleeping bag all spring and summer now, though I usually don't have to zip it up if it's over 15 degrees C. With a bivvy bag and hangning it to dry after sleeping should keep you nice and cosy. All the best, Chris

@@2icelollys1goat Nice to "meet" you Richard! My wife uses a Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 30. It's synthetic, weighs a few grams more, doesn't take as many degrees below freezing, but isn't as sensitive to moisture as a down sleeping bag. But I cannot get her to do a review on it :-)
