"But you´re a marriage counselor, you´re suppossed to fix our marriage" 😂 funny and sad at the same time

Some people shouldn't be married together. I'm fixing this marriage by ending it XD

Weirdly enough, the whole “they come because it’s over” is like the equal reverse of my premarital counselling. I was expecting relationship advice but it was just us complaining about how annoying our mother in laws are during wedding planning. Great sessions.

'wedding counselling' needs to be a thing, I will stand by this idea for life! People go nuts on all sides, in the weirdest ways, over the most bizarre things. It's like people forget how to respect boundaries and function like normal humans. And weddings ARE a lot - mentally, emotionally and logistically/financially. I got the most annoyed at people who were just trying to be helpful, but to the point where they weren't actually listening to the response they were getting if it wasn't a 'yes, I accept the helpful thing'. A lot of walking into other rooms to have a quiet breathe, or calling people back, to avoid arguments 😂

Why are there so many ridiculous irl mother-in-law stories? People talk about real-life inaccuracies in TV shows and movies, but I've heard a LOT more bad mother-in-law stories.

What I’m hearing from most of these people (the ones who are dragged to therapy by their spouse) is “I don’t want to be the bad guy for breaking up… let’s have someone else do the dirty work and confirm what we already know. They’re a professional, so obviously they know best”.

06:10- Plot twist is that was the counselor's plan all along. Never underestimate the power of human spite.

Of anything people should go to MC when the marriage is good... To keep things good. If you don’t go to MC until it seems like shit is over, shots probably over. And probably should be.

Your grandpa was rizzing up the counsellor, therefore she basically told everyone to split up so that nobody would suspect that she wanted your grandparents to split up and your grandpa can be with her.
