Couples can complete their marriage registration online from Sep 25. Video solemnisations will also be a permanent feature. The moves are aimed at providing greater convenience. Couples can opt to collect a ceremonial certificate from the Registry of Marriages. The Registry of Muslim Marriages will offer similar services starting next year.

I can't wait for the wedding ceremony, where the bride & groom open up a laptop(after the vows) to start filling up the form, only to forget their password and take like 1 week to get a letter from the government for password

Fine, for the convenience of some couples who need to meet a deadline, eg submit marriage cert to HDB while one or both parties are overseas. However, ROM must make sure to be very careful to verify all the documents, to rule out sny potential misuse of the system, especially with minors and foreigners.
