I was just there and loved it! I did let them know they need new coffeemakers. This is the third Marriott property that I’ve been to the past year with a broken coffeepot. I suggested a Keurig or combination machine.
I suspect they don't want to use Keurigs because it would likely mean they have to provide more starter coffee supplies since most people won't want to buy or bring the pods. Those supplies are probably more expensive than what they provide currently. We don't drink coffee, so it is possible the coffee makers were broken in the units we have stayed in and we would never know it. For us, the coffee pot gets put in any empty cupboard I can find space in to get it off the counter. Thanks for watching!
From what I understand, the Sunset tower is three years behind the Sunrise tower. So I would expect it to be done sometime in 2023 since the renovations in this video were done in 2020. Thanks for watching.
