As a woman, I felt horrible while di was reading out Comet's letter. This guy has no respect for his girlfriend, her family and her friend circle. Man, you're 19 years old but even my grandmother (who is no more) wouldn't have thought like that. I agree that society is unsafe for the woman but she cannot be sitting at home. Her parents are very experienced and I'm sure that they know what is right for their daughter. Please change your mindset or don't date any modern day girl because your expectations are just not rational.

I think a girl in most cases always knows about the intention of the people around regarding her so I think she's smart enough to judge whom she's hanging out with and regarding cousins many siblings look them as inspiration for a lifestyle , career etc etc. So yes she's smart enough to think for herself..!

M not agree. ,,if i love a guy and he is jobless that doesn't mean that i will leave him,,that's not called love if you are in a relationship from years with a guy who is not doing any job ,,if you will leave him,directly or indirectly,it shows that you love money ,not that person ,,if you truely love anyone. Dear Comet , Even if a girl dreams to be a housewife of a well settled man, she is not a burden to shed off. She will take care of the house and kids which is an honourable job just like her husband who will earn money to sustain the family. She is equal to her husband. Hence a girl child can never be a property regardless of her career.

Your boyfriend is seemingly tired of rejection. If you have anyone with contacts who can get him in somewhere that's good or just get into a bpo, unless as Prachi says, he is capable of being a home maker. I didn't get a job for almost 2 years so I finally did what I never wanted to do and join BPO, I'm optimistic I'll get something, but if I don't, I'm working. I have a general life question. How do I deal with people who are your so called friends but hides things from you? Things, if they would have to told me on time, I would probably be at a different level in terms of professional growth. For instance, lecture note in college, job opportunities and a lot more. It may be because, they're jealous or envy of me. Initially I used to show them the mirror, but have lately realised its bad. An eye for an eye and the world will be blind. Having known that they have done this, it tough to forgive, and be at the same level we used be. Although I forgive everytime. My question is what should I do? Should I cut them off from my life, or continue this weird friendship (if at all it's worth calling that). Have alot of male and female friends who are doing this.
