Just started using this light about two weeks ago. I can't wait to see this...Let's go! I control it with the AC Infinity 69 pro and it worked flawlessly, thumbs up.
@@HippieHemper I’ll have to do a couple more runs to know for sure but it has a bigger footprint than the ACI competitor for the 2x4 tent. It did well enough that I bought another one and moved the ACI light to a 2x3 tent, which fits perfectly and provides full coverage in the smaller tent. I give it a thumbs up
I think I may need this light to upgrade the old Mars Hydro SP250 single bar light that I have in my 4' x 2' (120x60cm) grow tent! Can't wait to see the review.
I appreciate everything you've done for my grow thanks to your calculations Data 💯 ❤ (Viparspectra 5x5 tent Viparspectra XS 1500 pro (x4) 2x Vivosun aero fans on Natural wind 247 ) these lights are cheap but when dasiy chained and properly measured in height to canopy, The results have been accurate and I plan on using your calculations again once I find a better light setup then what you have opened my mind to 💯
Hear add this to the review i have been using my Fc4000 for about 3 week's now in my gorilla 2by4 and I absolutely love it just like my other 4 lights from Mars hydro great quality for a reasonable price. Gotta need to get a new grow light try mars i did over 4 years ago and im still running nothing else but their llights ❤
Great review, as always. I love how thorough you are! I, as well as others would love to see you review one of the newer AC Infinity EVO lamps. Im running two tents.. 2x4 with HLG350R and just started a 2x2.5 with AC Infinity EVO4 lamp. Its a burner in that little 2x2.5 Gorilla Shorty tent! Lamp seems to have major balls, and I think you could do an awesome episode running that new bar lamp in both its intended 3x3 configuration, as well as PAR testing in a 2x2 environment. Youve mentioned the "big lamp in small tent" prior, lets see a review! NO SUBSITUTE FOR CUBIC INCHES, the old saying goes.. Big lamp + small tent = BIG fun for all! In all seriousness, It really blows my mind that theres no legitimate reviews for the ACI EVO lamps. Just paid sponsor videos with no REAL info. Its a shame... In the end for my 2x2 Octo-Burner grow, it was between the Mars Hydro FC3000 and AC Infinity EVO4. It was close, but ACI won out mostly by virtue of instant compatibility with my ACI Controller 69 - Despite ACI being just a bit pricier than it's Mars Hydro counterpart. Your reviews are very informative and on point and helped very much with my purchase decision. My current grow can be seen on overgrow - James’ lil Octo-Burner. One 2x2 Tent. One Octopot. One BIG-ASS light to rule it all!

I just got this light, I have had a lot of LED grow lights and this is the brightess light I ever had, I made a mistake and looked at when I turned it up and it gave me headache the first time that ever happened with a grow light

Hello Mr. Mj Coco. I am so confused, i cant decide what to buy🤯 -Mars Hydro FC4000evo, 2x FC1500evo or 2x Viparspectra XS1500 Pro(2024Version with Sanan Chips). Which one has the better Spectrum, which one will produce the best quality flowers? Pls make this decision for me, i would really appreciate that.
@Trippy_420_ bro I would recommend 👌 it for sure! This light is powerful for 2x4 tent. I kept mine light in seedlings 10% to Veg to 30% and to bloom on 50%.....
@jeffsmith8065 Honestly, I don't know much about the other light you're recommending, but I promise you that this light here does penetrate through out the 2 x 4 tent ⛺️
The output from Driver Vs the input from wall would be interesting coupled with ppfd etc, find the sweet spot for pwr efficiency for light output, eg 80% maybe be better then 75% on this particular psu's curve.

Hello my friend, i have a really importent question for me & i think many others... since not everyone have axcess to a PAR-meter (i have a LUX meter tho, and i understand u cant really compare them) My problem is, im about to buy some old sf2000 lights, according to the seller he have had themm3years but only grew 3 growcycles a'12weeks each.... My queation is, i can imagine u have gone thru a few sf lights.... my queation is, what should i look for... and can i with a LUX meter see if the diods arent to much DONE.... Maybe if u could test some lights (sf2000) with a LUX meter and tell us how much LUX atleast it should put out... Also if u could with ur PAR metwr measure each year or so just to see how much sf2000/growlights loose in efficiancy for each year.... This i think would help SO MANY PPL who cant afford, and want to buy used but also be sure ur not being screwed.... Also how about the drivers, sf use meanwell but how often do they broke/need to change ... etc etc .. English is not my #1 language but i hope u get what i want to know , amd i would apreciate that so Much ! I just bought a new kind LED X 220 for my 2’ x 2 1/2’ gorilla grow tent. I’ve had two other sets of lights in it before but I wanted to find a bar light to fit the small tent and I bought this one. It seems to work really well but could you please do a video on it it also has the red UV and IR spectrum you can manually adjust and with it at only 25% power I noticed my eyes were burning even with LED glasses on so I stopped using the extra mode in general and I’m sticking to the full spectrum for start to finish. I want to know how much power the light is using without using the spectrum, and more information on it, there’s hardly any videos on it
It took a month for me to finally get my FC4000 EVO but wow it was surely worth the wait...other than the bullshit MH app. Love the info and appreciate the power saving tip, you surely saved me from throwing away money by running on full blast ✌🏻
can i ask you something. has the LED come to a stop 3-4 years ago? is this as good as LED's gonna get? it feel like they yse to get double as powerful/efficient/effective year for year from say 2015-2020 but now it feels like i can aswell buy a fce6500 as a 2024 light. or is there anything happening on the light side?
Check out my video on the science of Horticultural LEDs. The LEDs are no longer getting more efficient because they really can't. The semiconductors are up to 90% efficient in energy transfer - there is very little left to gain! That said, LED Grow lights are still getting better. Fixtures can become much more efficient even though the diodes have tapped out. One way is using more diodes and running them with less power - this is increasingly affordable as the price of diodes plummets. Grower Love
30 cents per watt on mixing 3000k and 5000k leds from Amazon led ufo high bays ( while not the most cost efficient running cost ) is pretty budget friendly.😉
Hope this light will get cheaper in the EU in the next weeks. 426€ with code is still to much. If not i will buy a premium light from Austria and the money still stay in EU.
Great video. Out of the following 3 , MARS HYDRO FC4000 EVO, AC INFINITY IONFRAME EVO3 and SPIDER FARMER G4500 for biggest yeilds in a AC INFINITY 2X4 Tent ??? Please give me your opinion on which one of these lights would give the best corner to corner light coverage and which one I should get. Thanks
Dont forget about HLG350R. Its pricey, but that lamp is a burner in a 2x4. Ive done two grows with it in my 2x4. Both grows pulled over one full pound after dry. First grow five plants each in 5-gallon pots pulled 16.3oz. Grow I just finished was two plants in 6 Gallon Octopots and pulled 17.4oz between them both. Thats after any larf removed. Killer lamp. Not cheap, but it kills in a 2x4. If I'd had decent defoliation and trimming skills, this last grow should have been even higher-yielding
Running it at 50-75% power capacity would theoretically prolong the overall lifespan of the fixture because of less led heat degradation. I think . So running a 400w at 50% for a 200w output or at 75% for a 300w output to not blowout the leds.
