The JBL has the grit and gain of a live show. The Marshall has the clarity and clearness of a studio recording. I really enjoy the depth and fairness of the review of all these products. Thanks!
Just bought it in the cream color I agree the look is so amazing it’s a beautiful speaker and with the brass button and name it looks so classy it’s the best looking Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever seen and it sounds amazing!
Part of the appeal for me is that I associate Marshall with music, especially concerts. Just looking at the Emberton brings back some great memories. The sound, and now the app and ability to pair is icing on the cake.
Holy shit no WAY! I was legit just looking at getting a new bluetooth speaker on Amazon and came across this. Went to youtube for a review and my man Floss has me covered! Getting the popcorn ready now haha
Love the review! Please let your nephew that we appreciate the love and more importantly his talent. He is truly using the talent he was blessed with in a phenomenal way!
I’m low key waiting for the Marshall Woburn lll to be back in stock so that I can get one. It will be my first Marshall speaker but from what I’ve seen, Marshall has solid speakers.
That creme version is sick, think I need to cop one of those for sure. Bluetooth speakers are like horsepower...you can never really have enough lol and I know Floss is with me on that one!
Been a Bose Bluetooth speaker man for geez… 10 years? Been a Marshall amplifier man for 20. My go to Bluetooth right now is Bose revolve plus II Thanks floss. Glad I found your channel. Your a huge asset in the electronic nerd/great father community also cat lovers
They need to bring that green option back, badly, and introduce an orange option on their speakers. The Willen would go over well in orange for hikers off the beaten path. That green with the chrome logo is my favorite though.
Like your fondness of your cat, white shoes. About 4 months ago, 3 just weaned kittens were left on my front porch. One was a little black and white guy. I'm fond of it also. Your reviews of Bluetooth speakers are my favorite. Good job.
Fantastic review. You covered everything I wanted to know about the speakers and the way you were able to differentiate the speakers, incredibly helpful! I'm sold on the Marshal 🎶
Great work man…your review is thorough and down to earth…& you answered the unanswered…great anticipation of what everyday people want to know with regards to the product.
I enjoy watching ur reviews! Keep up the great work. I LOVE the design of the emberton. Although I do feel like the flip does sound better(I prefer more BASS) the emberton has its own special signature sound and I love it.
Adding this to my list of new speakers to get my Bose SoundLink color 2 is fading out I'm ready to try a new brand. Thanks for the video. Oh I almost forgot... I got a new kitten who had WHITE SHOES 👟 but it's a orange cat I love him so much it reminds me of your white shoes
I just bought an emberton 2, 2 days ago, marshall has revamped its packaging , it looks the same outside..but has revised the inside layout, the manual and quick start guide is now rectangular vs square-ish previously, and the charge cable is now inside a bigger box which now sits topmost s you open the box, vs its in the bottom on older package
@@FlossyCarter Yeah, watched your skullcandy crusher anc 2 vid too. Was funny as hell and I love bass so I'm gettin that one alongside the jbl box. Also, thanks for the reply man. You a legend for responding this quick to your community and interacting with them. Have a good day!
Im a big rock and roll guy, and marshall has really impressed me with most of their products that I've purchased. The sound signature of the marshall is just more tailored to rock. Some people just associate bass with quality, and i disagree. The balanced tone of the marshall really makes my music pop.
I have Marshall Emberton 1 it is amazing Bluetooth speaker and design too, I'm planning to get Marshall Emberton 2 for myself and for Marshall Emberton 1 this will be gift for my brother he can't remember where his old Bluetooth speaker and thumb up for Marshall 👍 this will my new favorite portable bluetooth speaker
Marshals gave Rock its sound in the Mids 60s and 70s .The Black and Gold is classic Marshals. The Cream was one of the Earliest color Amps. I play guitar been a Marshal fan since I was a kid
Hey Flossy, great content as always. I wanted to know if you will be doing the review of the nothing phone (1)? I know the phone will not be officially sold in the US but still is there a chance? Love your long phone reviews for being concise and honest. Keep up the great work as always 🙌❤️👊
@@FlossyCarter sweeeet! ❤️ Thank you so much for doing this. Tbh I have been looking for an upgrade this year and this is a phone I have been eyeing for sometime now. However I do want to be patient and wait till all the reviews are out so that I can make a collective decision on whether or not to pull the trigger on the nothing phone 1.
You should see if you can change the casings. Imagine taking the green from the 1 and putting it on the 2, but then you change the top button so that it's green with the gold Marshall and top button. Tight Can you pair more than 2? Can you pair Emberton with Willen? I think you should find a song to test that uses real instruments after you play one of those computer generated test songs.
Emberton 1 user here. If you think the upgrades for the 2 aren't necessary and you can get the 1 for cheaper then get the Emberton 1. But if they are around the same price the Emberton 2 is a major major major go.
@@FlossyCarter I finished watching the video and I agree with you on preference. I like that punchy base sound also. I’m going to keep shopping around and check out B&O also.
Just seems like there are much better speakers out there for the price. The only reason I could see for buying this is the form factor. Maybe just a little speaker to take to work or something, or have them for your laptop/tablet.
I love JBL! Bass, gotta have it!❣️ The Marshall looks, sounds good but not great for me. The Willum would be my choice over the Emberton 2 because of the sound and portability, easier to carry.
bruh.... that cookin' with Floss theme go hard man. Is there a download link???? As usual your review is on point. Im seriously going to look into this speaker. I usually roll with House of Marley or Bose but I see not imma have to give Marshall a try, see where it takes me. 💯
I have them both! For bassy or pop music id go with my Jbl6 but if i want clear or warm music id go with my Marshall1 both of them are very good speaker!
The Marshall sounds like it's struggling to keep up with the bass of the JBL. JBL just nails it everytime. But the Marshall looks insane. Def buying one to go with my Charge 5 lol
The different between the Emberton 1 and Emberton 2 is that one is a 2 and the other is one...just playing its the finest and improvement ...and you know flossy going to demonstrate it..
I’m looking to buy a new speaker. I’ve narrowed it down to the Marshall Emerson II or the Bose Soundlink Flex. Which in your opinion is the better speaker for sound quality? Keep up the amazing reviews!
Update on my status, I've listened to both and found the Bose Soundlink Flex superior. It punches more oomph imo and well the sound coming from one point is more useful imo than the Emberton II which plays on back for the 360° fill. The Emberton II is very nice but I'd only pick it for it's looks cuz sound was really more the Bose. Not by much, the Marshall Sound Signature is fun to listen to and the build quality + design is good. The Bose is very bland and you gotta jab the buttons to control it (at least that's how I felt.. the buttons were physical which is good but recessed.) Anyways to conclude.. I bought the JBL Xtreme 3. It wasn't much more and it definitely took the cake in all forms. Only issue, it looks like a monster. I use my bluetooth speaker mainly in one way, as in I place it towards me/us and we stay in that position. So the 360° is absolute useless for us also it creates something unexplainable but I didn't like it.. They play stereo but like the other half of it is on the back? Like it's weird. Rather go with true mono then. The Xtreme 3 is stereo in one direction but honestly the separation is noticeable but not that big as true stereo speakers. For me size was that of an issue so I could afford going for the bigger unit. I just dislike how my colleagues look and refer to it.. like I don't play it loud but they act like I'm a fucking lunatic cuz I have some partybox. In that regard a smaller speaker would've been nice but then again I wanted good audio and useable in multiple situations. Like I also went to recreational park / beach / lake with it and well let's say I couldn't open it full blast cuz I felt bad for other people. It's that loud.. though I don't like any speaker to go bevond 70%. Unless it's my dedicated studio monitors with subwoofer etc. All the rest I simply don't trust.. like my tv surround, it's great but I keep it within normal sound volumes. 70% is already crashing and burning the house when action scenes happen so.. 😅
Floss being audiophile myself. The Marshall sounds like vocals are deep in background an needs to be brought forward. The clarity in Marshall is great but sounds like being in deep hole. The JBL sounds 6x better but even bass on it’s still hits hard an falls off at end like being distorted.
Yo Flossy, Would really love you to take a close look at the brand new black Fender Riff Bluetooth speaker/amplifier. Can Fender compete with Marshall? Can you do a review of the Fender Riff? Maybe Marshall Middleton vs Fender Riff vs Extreme 3?
love watching all the recent bluetooth speaker vids. Not looking to upgrade and I'm still on my Cambridge Soundworks OontZ Angle 3 Pro which does the job and still has an aux port which a lot of recent brands are getting rid of. Still like to have the aux and for my usage I got my portable speaker plugged in with aux for my laptop setup
Ever consider using an iphone mic for the speaker test. They tent to pick up all the bass and treble from the speakers. Besides that Is the Marshall Action III a good buy? I have a litte extra budget for one. I am looking for bass heavy speakers that you can feel the bass on. Great Vid also
Hey floss, I have a chest bag that I like to use when I ride my one wheel. Do you think the Emberton two would fit in my chest bag or you think I would be better off getting the willen? If it’s small enough to fit in a chest bag, I may go with fist for that better sound but if it’s really not that portable and you think that strap on the back of the Willin is worth it I’ll go cheaper smaller and get the Willen for portability
