Matt you are fucking awesome :-D I just discovered you and went back to old videos and wow you were great back then as a little kid and just evolved so beautifully. Really inspiring thanks for sharing parts of your journey
answering for you he said in the video - no cab! Suhr reactive load box > focusrite claret 8 soundcard > PC with an impulse response loaded in. I was thinking the same Q till he said that around 2:28 in! :-)
The Marshall hands down beats the Engl, you have to understand all of these new amp makers are TRYING to match a what? MARSHALL...so..why go with a hot rodded Marshall just buy THIS head {If you can find one} It IS THE ULTIMATE MARSHALL period hands down I have played all the rest..Marshall= Industry Standard.
Hey Matt. Hope all is going well. . Do you still have the HJS or have you moved on? With those tones I find it difficult imagine that you let it go Great playing and the quality demo is appreciated. Have a good one Brother.
Jim Marshall NEVER designed an amp. He just owns the company. The designer of the JCM2000 series, JVM410, 210 and 410HJS (and some others) was Santiago Alverez.
This is the LAST AMP released that has Jim Marshall's signature on it. After Jim passed away the Marshall Amp company decided to mark the end of the era by not putting Jim's name on any amps released going forward and making The Satriani JVM the last one with that famous signature. It also has Joe Satriani's famous signature. .
