@Kryptoskillet Zack Snyder's Superman never want it to be a hero. His superman is a represent of Zack's philosophical belive. Zack believe that you have to save yourself first then others . This superman want to help others, that what makes him a hero and not a sad brooding man in panjamas like in Man of Steel

@Mark Guerrero what you said literally applies to Reeves. In the movies, he's just a guy who saves people and smiles at them. He doesn't have any real motivation, no character development, no arc, no journey and no real struggle. What's worse is that in the second film, he gave up his powers for selfish reasons. Too bad you didn't pay attention to Man of Steel or BvS because Henry portrayed a damn good Superman. He has his ideals, which is "just doing the right thing". He goes through a defined journey of self-discovery, and his reactions are justified because of the world it takes place in. Even Tyler's Superman said to Jordan that his ideals are tested almost every time and it was really difficult at the beginning of his career.

I think they also used that coat in Justice League 2017 and 2021, when he took Lois in Smallville. Anyways, I think that coat will now be referred to as "The Superman Coat". 😊😊😊

He’s always been jacked but doesn’t have as much mass as other portrayals, he’s pretty lean. He definitely does look bigger and also more shredded than his previous appearances on Supergirl. His body fat is lower than Henry Cavill but Cavill just carries more mass on his frame and still looks great without being shredded.

Actually, the muscle suit is a necessity, even for the most jacked-up actors. It helps enhance whatever musculature is there as it would be compressed under the super-skin-tight costumes worn nowadays.

@@unholierthanthou111 - Not quite. Same area, different farm. The "Smallville" farm is in Cloverdale, British Columbia, and featured a yellow house with red barn. The one featured on "Superman & Lois" is located in Ladner, BC and features a white house with a red barn.

The Fleischer-inspired suit from Superman Smashes The Klan is literally perfect. The size, shape and color of the s, and the color choices in general. The trunks are the symbol that his mom made the suit for him, inspired by the circus strongmen she and Pa remembers watching. All perfect. We should stick with that for a while. The heart and soul of Superman by Jerry Seigel and Joe Shuster in the modern era. *(and the radio drama) *((and the Fleischer cartoon))

What about Kal-El's parents? I think Morgan Edge/Tal-Roh is intentionally bringing back people who sided with his psyco father in whatever conflic happened before. Otherwise he would have brought back Lara himself once he knew the process worked.

Depends on the depiction. House of El is usually the best of Krypton but Kryptonians aren’t inherently evil, just traditional while Jor-El liked having different dreams for his future than what society had intended for him. Tal just brought back extremists first to help him conquer Earth.

I think I get what you mean, if you're talking about how Superman's costumes are often mostly indestructible, which doesn't seem to be the case here (at least with this suit), but there's also the very iconic and well thought out John Byrne version, in which it's said that Superman's has some kind of force field-like aura around himself, that makes him invulnerable, and can also protect skintight clothes (for example: in one comic he fights a big robot while wearing his Clark Kent clothes, and says something about how he should wear his suit, cuz if he doesn't, the only thing that won't get shredded on him will be his socks), so in that eitheration he just wears a suit made out of regular fabrics, and maybe that's how it is in this show as well.

Modern Superman has always had an invisible skin tight bio electric shield that extends over his entire body. Its what gives him his invulnerability. He can also extend this shield at will over clothes or anything he's touching. His suit was never supposed to be indestructible because he is.

@@alexanderlawrence2593 In the comics his mom made it but in some continuities Clark & his dad thought of to use the symbol on the front and back of the cape. Also the material was alien material in the comics since his mom used the material he was wrapped in as a baby which is why it never got damaged plus Clark haves an invisible aura ability which is why his suit doesn't burn too.

Clark's first ever suit was made by his mother later on it's either kryptonian weave or it's something else. even in certain comics Batman creates a suit for Clark.

In the original man of Steel comic it was explained that clothes that stuck close to clarks skin (tights and stuff) don't get harmed for some reason ( supporting the theory that superman might exert some kinda energy field to protect himself). As far as I can think of , it is the only explanation.
