Every parent will do that. Candice is not a bad person but I can't blame Lois or even Clark to get angry because of course it's their son's reputation was ruined.
Candace is alot like lois and you can tell that's one of the reasons why lois doesn't like her, I also loved that little expression when Candace stood up for her family while speaking to lois you can tell lois respected that because it's something she would of done.
@@blacky8987 Even Candace can speak for her self like a true women she would say this well what are you gonna do? Pass another Law? cause that sure as hell didn't keep him out of my pantties or having sex with Johnathan! I think thats the reason why Lois dislikes Jonathan.
This episode is littered with little moments where Sam expresses his confidence in Jordan - in front of Jordan. Like at 1:55. When you remember how shy and insecure Jordan used to be, it's really great that he's getting this kind of validation from his grandfather and it is clearly helping him to overcome his insecurities.
@@blacky8987 - Lois needed to see Jordan in action, which she did later that day when he saved her and Sam. Like many of overprotective mother, she was still thinking of him as a fragile child, not as a budding man (or in his case, Superboy).
Glad Jonathan and Candice found a way to tell their story to Lois and general Lane. If only Clark was there to hear the story, so we would be able tp understand and possible help them.
how?!! how could one kiss that she could totally bury (who's gonna tell?) but instead told jordan be anyway comparable to i let my boyfriend take the fall for my drug dealing and have to be coaxed with totally immunity to clear his name?
@@targetseeker Jon made that decision not candace. Cant blame someone for something she/he didn't even do. Jon made the decision to take the blame. Candace went along with it.
@@techno0suck3r true but we learned that she still kept on dealing instead of lying low (that's how Jordan learned about her). The "she has to deal drugs to support her family" excuse would work better if we actually know more about her family life. Heck, being forced to deal drugs (family being threatened) would be a better excuse
Hmm could theses headaches along with the appearance of his doppelgänger be the think to make his powers emerge or he does the desperate thing again and merges with his other self or a more savage way is do a blood transfusion giving himself his counterparts blood hence giving him powers
Jonathan and Candice this relationship is still going to be over when superman comes home!Clark was already furious at Jonathan for taking drugs and now when he gets back he’s going to make Jonathan break up with his girlfriend!
@@daniels7907 I mean him having head aches like Clark did when Bizarro showed up, then minutes later we see Bizarro Jonathan appears isn't a coincidence.
@@newt1110 - Oh, of course. It's just that with Clark it wasn't just a slight migraine, he was literally having seizures! But that is likely because both he and Bizarro have super senses. Jordan might also be more severely affected by his doppelganger, assuming the other version of him shares his powers.
I kind of feel like Candice is going to be the kind of girl that would sleep with Jonathan's doppelganger and wouldn't even know the difference😂😂 then it's going to start a whole shit of drama like I'm watching Smallville all over again
@@DonKennyel yeah because I'm right that's how most TV shows are now today they make all female characters look terrible. Example look at what they did to Sam for Cobra kai yay for the first season they made her into a glorified prostitute even her own father Daniel Russo so just pick a guy already you have a new boyfriend every week
@@DonKennyel plus something people are not thinking about I'm pretty sure she slept with that drug dealer... that's what usually happens when the girl gets involved with a drug dealer or some really bad guy they always end up f******. Look what happened to that girl liv from Scream 5 it was pretty f****** obvious that she also had sex with that drug dealer when she broke up with Randy's nephew
i remember seen several coment sections saying that candice was just "using him", but it was just people hating for no reason, they forgot that she is having a terrible life and conects to jon because of their inside sadness
As I understand it, the actress who played her got another gig. That was why they just wrote her out between seasons. Sometimes these things have more to do with real life than with writing decisions.
It is sad Candice's dad is sick but no one can fix a bad thing with other bad thing. Life don't work like that and becoming a drug seller is really bad and stuped thing to do.
Maybe a diner job wouldn’t have been enough, especially for a high schooler in a small town. Do you know how expensive medical bills can be? Literally one trip to the hospital could be a whole summers worth of her paycheck
@@dracsbee I’m not sure id have to rewatch it. But even if he were working some people just don’t have it like that bro. Maybe his job doesn’t provide insurance I’m not sure, but the shows implying that they can’t afford treatment that could save his life. And when you’re sick sometimes you can’t work all the time and then you miss money. I’m in no way saying that what she was doing is right, I’m just saying under some circumstances people have to do what they have to do. I’m blessed to have never gone through that but when I put myself in her shoes then I can understand why she’s selling.
She did work at the diner , remember when Clark went in there and trashed her dad on the counter and he said he didn't want to do it in front of his daughter yeah.
oh my god erica durance from smallville is a better lois lane this one is just annoying. i like the actress that plays her but damn i really hate this lois though i mean she's "right" all the time is this woman ever wrong in an "argument" it doesn't matter who she's fighting with or who is actually wrong in the argument lois is always right. i don't hate her character or at least i'm trying not to but man she makes it difficult though. her character is fine except for the two flaws she has where she's self righteous and morally superior to everybody and she's always right all the time. lois would be a whole lot more likeable if the writers of superman and lois would change the way her character is written in arguments with people and didn't have her be "right" all the time or be morally superior to people it pisses people off and it's annoying af. another thing that pissed me off is clark's argument with jonathan about taking the xk drug and jonathan said dad i can explain and clark said to him you had a chance to explain with your mother that pissed me off because i was thinking in my head no he didn't. the reason it made angry is because clark lied there and he knows it jonathan didn't get the chance to explain a damn thing. the reason that scene pissed me off is i feel jonathans parents didn't try to understand his perspective and point of view and they didn't try to understand his reasons for why he did what he did. i was so mad at their parents during that scene if john is wrong here for taking the xk and has to be punished okay fine but at least let the boy explain everything at least let him give you the reasons for why he did what he did i mean not everything is about ethics and morality and is a ethics and morality issue but anyway that is the only two things i hated and didn't like about the argument with Jonathan i felt they didn't let him explain anything or try to understand his reasons. p.s one more thing i also agree with the people in the comments section on youtube johns family treats him like crap and he gets crapped on all the time and jordan is the favorite and they do treat him better clark even took jordan to the fortress in season one to explore his "kryptonian heritage" but not johnathan even though both boys are half human half kryptonian i get john didn't have powers yet but it's still unfair though. clark even moved the family from metropolis to smallville with asking jonathan's permission and hid and kept his secret about being superman a secret from both boys for fourteen years which is also messed up then the hypocrite the justified it by saying he did it to protect his son's okay so it's only okay to lie and keep secrets if it's clark and lois doing it that's hypocritical but okay double standards much. i never hated jonathan or jordan and always liked both of them equally even though jordan is probably the favorite and favored more out of the two of them and clark and lois are harder on Jonathan. something else that i didn't like is when last episode when lois questioned johnathan about the drugs she said to him i just don't understand your behavior. yes lois that's exactly the problem here his family doesn't understand him you don't understand him and they don't even try too and they spend more time and attention focused on jordan and his problems and how he's doing but never try to understand jonathan or ask him how he's doing or how's school. it's also hypocritical the football team like 85 or 90% percent of them are using the kryptonite XK drug but jonathan is the only one who got in trouble for it and got called out yes i know he's the only one who got caught but still. the show really crapped on his character and treated him like shit especially season two hopefully things get better for him and jonathan's character is treated better in season three i still like the show though.
i like the actress Elizabeth Tulloch on superman & lois but i really hate and don't like her lois lane. whenever her lois gets into an argument with somebody lois is never wrong and is always "right" (she's always right) she also acts "morally superior" to everyone in arguments like she has the "moral high ground" it's irritating and extremely annoying. erica durance's lois lane from smallville is better. i don't even read comics and i'm not even a comic book fanboy i just watch these superhero tv shows on the cw for entertainment. it's still a very good show though.
People in the comments who keep on saying Jonathan is getting powers after a headache! No he isnt yet and stop arguing with people who actually know their stuff and actually pay attention to the show instead playing with your devices or day dreaming, Jonathan will get them eventually so be patient the writers do have plans with him just maybe not in a way you want them too.
Candice has a good reason sure but Jordan and Jonathan are really giving everything for their women while they give nothing back. Candice is at least trying though. Sarah was ruined in season 2 along with her dad. At least the dad faced consequences though even if it wasn't for long.
"I'm sure you had a choice. You just made a bad one.". God, I'm so much hating Lois, Clark and their puritanism, right now. They are judging Candance and John's behaviour, but are not offering any solution either. She made a bad choice? Good. Which would have been the right one that would not have meant her father's death or simply suffering? Candance might have done a wrong thing by selling drugs, but it's far more wrong that a teenager is forced to do such a thing because she can't afford medical bills. Lois and Clark have never been poor and even though this doesn't mean that they can't express their opinion, I would really like to know how Candance should have got the money or simply the treatment, according to them.
Inverse Jordan spoke English but inverse Superman didn't.. hmm ok. He will obviously cause a lot of trouble in the next few episodes but poor Jon has no girlfriend now. She would probably start dating a girl just so they can have a "member of the LGBTQ" couple as a regular on the show. CW can never let things just flow into place always forced. Only member I like is on Charmed and she is an awesome latina transgender who doesn't have to force her character to prove a point when acting it flows naturally!
This show is just so American sometimes… like I know people with waaaay worst lifes than her and if they heard the “my dad has a heart condition” they would laugh at her and compare notes, that ain’t no excuse honey
Your kinda forgetting that in the context of the American health care system, her father with a heart condition really is, sadly, a big burden if they can't afford his treatment.
