He suffers from "photophobia" or light sensitivity, sometimes you might win a fight by pure chance, meaning, you find in your seemingly superior opponent a weak spot and you develop a strategy to explore it.

The part that always stuck with me, when I saw this as a child, was the oversized Footprint on the yellow shirt. Just…BAM…. Since I’m a small person too, when I did martial arts, I was always worried this could happen, especially when we learned push kicks. Later on, I did train with someone well over 6ft, and his kicks scared the crap out of me, so much, I was too afraid to hold the focus mitt. Hi BK, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your reactions to these scenes. Its a little refreshing seeing a teacher with such an optimistic outlook when reviewing other people's work rather than _just_ finding ways in which their style is better (not that critism is bad)! After all I think self defence styles are constantly evolving and by reviewing each others work in a more constructive fashion would help everyone out. Anyway, love your videos keep up the great work! Peace from the UK.

That last choke was supposed to be a bulldog choke, which isn't a blood choke but a pain choke since it impacts the throat and spine. So you could fight through it as long as he didn't crush your throat if your pain tolerance is beastly. I certainly tap when I get a good judo or catch guy latched onto one of those. Hurts like hell.

Pop Culture reference. Goku's "Perfected Ultra Instinct" Form from Dragon Ball Super is inspired by Bruce Lee's concept of Self-Movement. The idea of having the perfect merger between Natural Instinct and Control. Having the body move with purpose. Having the body well trained enough where its reactions requires no thought yet maintaining control so not become animalistic.

@@XRos28 we were both probaly too young at the time but this Marijuana thing was so big at the time because, the use of it was not as accepted as today and because for years it was considered to be the "real" cause of Bruce death ( thanks to the infamous documentary where the Warner Bros producers were shit talking Bruce at every corner) which would have been, if confirmed, the first and only, to this day, death related to Marijuana consumption. By the way, i was the one that brought up his childhood and you responded to me like i was saying that i was confirming that he was using cocaine even when he was a child, maybe i interpreted your comment wrong, and if that is the case i apologize.

I wish to say two comments. Firstly had Bruce Lee lived long enough to incorporate those magnificent 3 fight scenes in to a movie & I mean a movie that he would be proud of I feel this could have been one of his best ever films. The film the game of death had it's moments, highs & lows apart from those 3 fights when Bruce Lee was in film for around 15 minutes in the theatrical release version. Secondly this memorable fight was very different from this version. I think the talking part between the two didn't really fit in & wasn't necessary as for the scene with the light & how it affected Kareem I didn't mind that unfortunately not shown in the movie. I have the DVD with extras & special features showing the full fight also between Kareem & 2 other martial artists.

Just one of those kicks or punches hits lee and he's done. That first kick to the chest would have broken several ribs considering how huge Kareem is and how tiny Bruce is. When Karen had him by his shirt just before he opened the light, that right punch would have removed Lees head from his body.

Kareem is not made of steel that it will break Bruce Lee's bones.
