I never get tired of this song or his singing. What a shame he was dumped by the record label in favor of younger performers, we saw him in person. He was a great guy, nice disposition and you could tell he appreciated his fans. He was the real deal, but Nashville does all they can to produce and sell garbage. Everything is more country rock and die hard country fans don't like it, but that's the way it goes. Would give anything to see him again, hope life has been good to him.
I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with this guy on two different occasions when he performed at a local country bar just after this song.video was released. He was as down to earth and nice as a guy can get. He had a great voice and should have gotten much more attention. I guess it really is all about who you know in the music business.
+Erik Nauclér I agree. He's one of many who never got the recognition they truly deserved. There are many new artists with signed recording deals that don't have a fraction of Martin Delray. I guess it's all about who you know and who gets paid under the table.
