Of all their Colgate comedy hour episodes, this is my favorite ending. It had it all, Jerry's craziness, Dean's wonderful voice and comic presence, they got the band involved, the audience just loved it. And the very end when Dean and Jerry harmonized, wasn't that special? And then the big finish, with their dancing. Man, these two were so special.
This clip is such a good example of how funny Dean can be. Love that look on his face right before he licks Jerry and the look Jerry's face was priceless!

I don't think he was fat until he got hooked on pain killers. I just think he was so skinny when he was young that it seemed like he got fat. I think he filled out a bit after about 1954 and he looked more grown up. To me he looked like a baby until '54-'55
