Dr. Bernice King, Martin Luther King's youngest daughter, shares her story of loss in a keynote at the National Grief & Hope Convention on Saturday, April 18, 2015.
I lost my mother in 2014 and my husband of 33 years in 2019. I can't stop re-watching this video. I can't be sad for me, because my heart goes out to you. I'm so happy you have a chosen sister/best friend you can talk to and share with. You and I were born the same year (1963) Bernice, but I was born in November. I hope God allows us to meet one day and spend some time talking. It's not impossible because I stay in Jacksonville, Florida. Be encouraged and know that you are helping others with your honesty and transparency. God Bless!
I just lost my mother almost a year ago. I was her caregiver even throw she was on hospice they did not do the work. Thank you for this subject matter I had to quit my job to take care of her. Love you. Dr. BERNICE KING.

Who knew that 7 years later this would pop up in my algorithm at the time where I have been experiencing TREMENDOUS loss and learning how to cope/ function. Thank you!
