Recently was in the hospital in critical shape. I was alone sad , worried didn't know if I was going to make it and this song randomly came on one night and I just couldn't help but cry and praise God cause I took it as a sign I had an Angel with me and everything would be ok. I lost my mom to end stage COPD and lung cancer on June the 4th 2020, this was her favorite song we played it at her funeral.. An I am her only son besides my older sister, I listen 2 this song daily an when I'm feeling down an it makes me cry everytime, but ik when I hear this song my mom's looking down on me from heaven an saying son it'll be ok! I used to sing this song in Burnsville Minn in a family band that was together when my parents were alive they both would be 110. You see I came from a family of 12 and I'm the youngest pushing 64. My belov3d one died last month and when I sang that song he would look at me like their was no one else in the room. I'm sure we will keep those in are hearts as long as they beat.

This was music that empowered the masses and inspired so much creativity in our society. Most country today is washed of everything that makes people FEEL the music and the poetry. My favorite band to listen to now is Larkin Poe. Two beautiful sisters with a modem blues twang. Their covers are incredible and their originals that they record live are amazing.
