@@jarodscott3276 When you compare him to an anomaly like Thor, who's 6'9", no he's not super tall. When you compare him to an average population where less than 3% of the population will be taller than him, it's fair to say he's really tall.
zcrawford81 I’m only 5’9” myself. I work with 6 people regularly 6’2”-6’4”. In my personal life I know 4 people 6’3-5”. At the gym I go too I regularly see a handful of guys around 6’3”. If average is 5’10-11”, 5’9”/6’0” is still in the average range to me. Tall starts at 6’1-2”. I’ve worked with a guy that was 6’9” 340# amateur strong man and was the only guy that’s ever made me feel like I was small.
@Martins you need to set your right scapula down and in. It is really evident at 29:00 chest press set. Set it. Create even stability in the thoracic. Then press off. You are missing it.
After watching quite a bit of Thor over the last couple years, I love how much more natural and relaxed he is with Martins and Romark than pretty much everyone else. It really shows how much he actually likes the two of you. The only other people I've seen that worked with Thor where he really seems comfortable is Juji and Tom. I really enjoy when you guys team up. Hope to see many more in the future!
Agreed, I love these collabs. I'm hoping around the Columbus show Martins can collab with everyone's favorite strongman MATEUSZ. Those two together would be so awkward yet so funny... a youtube classic for sure.
Sorry if you did not spot it there, but Runar is sort of out of Romarks´ league in badass. Romark vs Tom (from Juji and Tom) could be more unpredictable in its result.
@@kahlaaja don't underestimate me yet broo. Check out the next upload. ive done platinum plus contest. (600 lb yoke for 80 feet, 200 lb farmers for 80 ft, MAS Wrestling, 425 axle deadlift for reps, I got 8 reps on that, and 225 lb log press reps) I got first place in all the events expect the pressing event because of my one under the develope side of my body. This pressing that we are doing just happens to be my weakest event! BUT no excuse, I have the technique so I overcome it!
@@romarkweiss1795 I admit I was wrong, and I got quite surprised by that next video! This is probably exactly what seeing people in videos vs seeing in real life can do: expectations can be very off because from videos can see just the most intensive moments (like lifts) of a person out of which the picture of the person form, where as irl there is a whole reality of info behind that cannot be seen. I like you Romark (no homo), but I just got confused. 😅
Odd would probably not lose to Bjorn at any event. Romark can win some strongman events and maybe bodyweight against Runar but Runar's a damn solid block of muscle. Martins and Thor depend on event, Thor seems to be way ahead currently, of everyone not just Martins
Martins and Thor training together might be the best thing Ive ever seen. The "playful banter" between the 2 and the comradery is awesome. Theyre both proficient at different events too (yes they are both proficient at ALL events) so their combined powers dont add together, they multiply! Keep it up you guys. Youre both doing great things for your sport and strength sports in general 👍
I love the comradary between most of these Men the biggest and the best in the world and still willing to help each other out and let each of thier individual abilities to the talking for them. So fucking awsome.
25:15 "the vigilance of this man, if something is on the ground..he's on it immediately cleaning it up" Better step up your cleaning game, Martins. Bjorn is showing you up, my dude. Guess he'll forever be Employee of the Month. :D You have an epic sense of humor, Martins. ^.^ You and Hafthor play off of each other really well in that regard..It's comedic Gold when y'all share the same space. We need more Hafthor and Martins collabs.
Thor's dad is incredible. Super strong and supportive guy. You can't be the best in the world without a great support system, and it's easy to see where Thor gets his.
Looking good martins! You have gotten a lot bigger and stronger. Looking great. Thor is just looking crazy huge! Your are so strong and flexible and fast. Nice video!
The brotherhood of strongman is like no other. Both of these guys are each others biggest competitors yet they’re giving each other pointers and training together just a few weeks before the second biggest competition in the world. So much respect for these guys.
31:53 Martins says cable press downs work well as a deadlift accessory. I've never heard that before but it makes sense because the movement also engages the lats. Thanks for the tip MARTINS!!
Was just watching you and Thor’s last link up in Iceland cause the videos never gets old and you just drop a new video with him today love you guys stay strong 💪🏽 MARTINSSSSSS
I haven't been watching Thor's stuff in a while, but the last time I did he seemed to be falling off a bit. Now he looks to be back in full force, and goddamn is he big. Glad to see Martins' pressing strength coming back as well!
Bromance is real, love these two together, I also fucking love seeing more of an insight into strongman, definitely thinking of taking it up myself due to these fantastic videos!
BODYBLADE oscilations will retrain nerve. You need an apparatus that has a rythm that your tricep needs to learn to keep time with and establish resonance. Nerves in tricep recieve info from object in motion and reciprocate with the complimentary force vector in real time
What an opening 🤣🤣 Hope that recovery of the thoracic outlet syndrome continues going strong mate. I had a case of that 7 years ago so I know your pain Martins, shit injury.
One of the best intros ever , i really like Martin cause he dont take himself too serious. I am the same, propably thas why i like him though. I like how most of the big strong guys are just really humble persons. Like in Spiderman said with great power comes great responsibility. I wish the best too all of them.
Even if injuered and surely upset, Thor was very happy when Martins won WSM 2019, and had nothing but a great friendship and affection to him. Some may be surprised they train together while still competing for the same titles, and some british fan can think Thor is no sportman because of old feud with Eddie Hall and complainings about WSM 2017...but as for me, i am not surprised. Thor is a great man of sport and he can have real good and faithful friends like everyone can see
