@@allisonavery7273 *sure they do rough sketches for characters but the most important part of making any show/movie is the simple fact that you HAVE A STORY*
So obviously only he can fully answer this question, and I am not a writer, but I have written a few stories in the past. And I will say that when you’re writing out a character that you intend to just be in the background, it’s surprisingly easy to end up expanding on them more than you thought you would. You start thinking about how this character could add to the story or the dynamic. It’s interesting to say the least
This is a fun gag, although I do think it is a little odd (yet strangely wholesome) that there is an anthropomorphic rabbit performing around the tri-state area, and no one seems particularly perturbed by it.
@@samuelburke5636 You serious right now. 😂 No, man. People know the baseline story of "Jesus Christ". You literally don't have to advertise Christianity. Everyone knows about Christianity. If they wanted to be one, they would.
@@funwithcoding2818 kinda weird too since he's the only animal hybrid that live in the big city I mean the other agent in OWCA can be seen sometime even in coffee shop like Peter the panda but he's a full animal, this one is a hybrid, it make me wondering if there's something behind it
And now we know that fully anthropomorphic animals exist in Danville. Which makes me wonder what else lives in Danville besides the humans! I mean, we know aliens exist in this universe, and robots.
Shame this fella never really made a physical appearance since season 2. If Milo Murphy's Law ever gets a third season, Marty should definitely make a guest appearance at some point
"Breaking news! Famous celebrity marty the rabbit boy gets his blender stolen! If you see this blender, please call the proper authorities. 'He-he had a big, rectangular handle that kind of looked like a nose, and he-he had marty written on his cap.'"
@@capricciosity that's just the internet for ya, unfortunately. Not many people are original on here. But hey on the bright side, the more people who say it, the more likely the message might get across
I have a few favourite gags from P+F and Milo. Off the top of my head, my favourite visual gag from MML is in The Llama Incident, when Milo begins the tale. "Back at the turn of the century-" "Really? It starts in 1900??" "No, this century. The year 2000!" Then the flashback he's having updates its aesthetic from old-timey Danville to an appropriately modern Danville with a little *ding!* It gets me every time.
Definitely need a full version! And for a lot of other songs as well... But that might actually be the full song in this case. I heard that Dan and a few others made an elaborate song for whatever was the new toy but at a meeting, the Disney execs didn't like it and wanted a different song. Swampy burst into the Brick Song right there and then in the meeting, and they ended up using it in the show
See, this is why it bothers me when people say "there is no such thing as gifted, just a lot of practice." This stuff just comes so naturally to you guys.
I remember the initial localized names in Dutch being "Rick Konijn en zijn muzikale mixer" (Rick Rabbit and his musical mixer). His return in season 2 turned it into a more literal translation: "Martie het Konijnenjoch en zijn muzikale blender".
Sometimes I think that Swampy is the ultimate genius of coming up with things when you least expect, just came up with the perfect name for them upon seeing them!
I've always wanted to know more about the handsome song that you sang. Just anything about it specifically, the creation or a new cover of it. I love it.
I'm 21 years old now I remember when this show came out 😂 great memories that show got me through a lot in my childhood. I'm very appreciative of you. You don't understand how much watching this show everyday put a smile on my face. Thank you for making my childhood amazing
It's an interdimensional being. I believe there was a part in the first Phineas and Ferb movie where they're going through different dimensions, and one is full of those baby heads.
Dan creating the gag, and Swampy giving the character a name and motivation for said gag with no prior exposure, is pure magic of the kind that only happens when two incredibly talented people are in sync.
I love this! The first rule of improv comedy is "Yes, and..." and this is a good illustration of that outside of the original context. It's a good reminder that we shouldn't shoot down an idea. Always give ideas the opportunity to succeed or they will all surely fail
Remember, eveyone, to report the abusive "adult" content bots in the comments. We can help Dan keep this place wholesome by hitting that flag. Also, Dan, you may want to consider auto-banning comments with certain keywords, they tend to use the same words / censored words.
you were litterly my childhood i can’t stop watching your videos you are a big inspiration. As a kid i would save up all my money and beg my parent to take me to home depot and get wood, pipes, anything I could get my hands on to build a crazy invention. And I just want to say thank you for making such a great show.
This is such a perfect example of why you and Swampy made such a great creative team. Thank you both so much for bringing this cartoon to life that meant so much to me when I was growing up.
I love a workplace environment where you can just say something like "Marty the rabbit boy and his musical blender" and everyone is like, "ah, but of course"
I grew up watching Phineas and Ferb, and I have a 2 year old son and he watches it for hours. Thank you for making these moments I can go back to and now enjoy them with my son.
I miss when my kids used to watch Phineas & Ferb.... on occasion we will whip out the old cd in the car. Those songs are sometimes the thing my kids and I enjoy listening to in the car together. Thanks for such a great show!
these gags are why people love this show, the plot of every episode following one formula allows for the humor and visual gags to go all out and make up a majority of the memories made from the show, truly beautiful
I love when artists give themselves the opportunity to make something based on completely random doodles and have it either DO something for the story, or have it completely out of the stories way but still visible, Mr. Blight’s Palisman from the Owl House
You are seriously one of my favourite creators ever because every time you ever talk about your work there is so much palpable joy and love behind it (not to mention your level of talent) and that kind of passion is unteachable and just so incredible
Thank you for not stealing credit like Stan Lee, Bob Kane, Steve Jobs, and so many others. You acknowledged your part, and acknowledged Swampy's as well, without a second thought. Didn't grow up with P&F, but I love your channel for reasons like these.
So I have never actually watched an episode of Phinias and Ferb. My kids were older when this came out but they loved the show. Discovering Dan years later has been awesome and thank you for entertaining generations!
I really enjoyed Phineas and Ferb when I was younger thank you for making this show it was one of the best growing up watching it actually helped to make me want to do more outside rather than just playing video games thank you for making my childhood happy you're the best DAN❤️❤️❤️
