One of the most impressive things about Dark is how is constantly looking for a way in, even going to statistically subpar strategies to see if they leverage a weakness that crept in. I think he thinks more of a toolbox rather than builds or buildo orders, which can seem (or actually be) sloppy, but it means he is more willing to pivot, and his experience helps him know when to pivot. Such a good series! Love Dark's play.

In an interview talking about Dark's family and life situation, he was quite candid and spoke of plans to return home, spend time with his family to make up for the time he's lost with his daughter and rest for the two months he has before he has to get into military service. I'm assuming this is a strict deadline now, the way he talked about it, but who knows.

Why Dark is not Military yet? because he became a Dad and if he gets 3 babys before he turns 30 he might not have to do his Military Service at all as you are obligated to enlist for the service between 18 and 35. And the reason: the South Korean government desperately wants to boost the nation’s ailing birth rate to stave off a looming demographic disaster btw this idea from the gov, came just before Dark became a dad. so we might see dark never go to military service Such amazing Games i could watch Dark and Maru all day long

They say Maru has never won a world cup but forget about all his GSL runs. GSL is a global league, it just takes place in Korea. I used to hold GSL on just as high a standard as the WCS global finals, only its a different format.
You can be the world champion, but you can also not be the best terran, zerg, or protoss at the same time. That is determined by your winrates in each matchup combined.

The current best Terran, without a shred of doubt, is Clem. I will not give a spoiler, but his last big tournament play was so ridiculous that it was the best performance ever seen since the golden Maru days, and Serral won everything and shocked the world.
is it possible to make a map that isn't symmetrical? where the race you are will dictate where the gold minerals will be located? sometimes it feels like gold base locations only help one race but by making it change locations based on what race is selected. If zerg, put the gold base closer but if terran, that same base, same location, would be regular minerals. the mineral location would be the same but the gold minerals would be swapped. I have no idea if i explained that correctly. thanks for the videos. :).
