We owned a Blue Suzuki Baleno in UK around 2007-09 period. It was a very simple car and so easy to drive and handle... It was one of our last two cars there before we left that country.. Your video polished some memories associated with that car....Cheers..!

Another great episode!! As JD mentioned, when it first came out it didn't look that good but now it looks really cool. Also some very good camera shots of the car driven through the woods, looks like poor JD had to get into the woods with the camera while Vivekji was ripping it through the beautiful road 😀.

Baleno is my first car.. It was like love at first sight.. Driving it for more than 2 years... Its just amazing..its 1600 cc engine is so powerful..By design prospective it may feel outdated but its a features rich car.. Its AC, Rear defogger, Electric adjusted ORVM and even high adjusted seat belt makes you realize that this car was way ahead of this time..

Great video guys... Took me back to days when Baleno was my fav car😂 I remember my uncle bringing in a Rented Baleno VXI as backup car after his swift being in an accident. Both my cousins were too excited and blabbered a lot about the car which 10 year old me didn't understand. A small drive in the car with Uncle and cousins gave me a unique sensation which i never experienced in other cars. But thats all i needed to have that car in my mind as my most favorite car, which i craved to drive in future When i finally drove the LXI varient in my 20s The skinny tyres and poorly maintained condition shattered my expectations about how Baleno would have felt to drive. I wish i could come across a well maintained Baleno in near future.

I bought Baleno 1.6 2006 an year back. Didn't had much ideas about cars. But started loving my rides after it. Still loving it. Such an amazing engine with awesome driving experience. And I'm very proud to own a Baleno. And feeling lucky to have one at least this early😉 And Thanks for giving this video as a tribute. Loved it. ❤️

My friend having a 2004 baleno vxi, gives so engaging drive, yes the sgp parts are very expensive as it having a independent suspension at rear, the bumpers , headlights .. but because it is maruti some outside maruti workshops here in tvm will do this job for affordable price and parts are also somehow available or can be sorted from some total lossed cars or cars taken for engine swap , the car is very beautiful to drive and the engine is torquier if we are cruising at higher gears if we give a sudden tap the engine will respond and also the 2nd gear pull upto 110 may be because car weights below 1000 kg, i think this engine has some features like air pre heater something like that which will help while overtaking i don't remember that exact name, the car is lengthier but we won't feel that length while inside cabin but struggle while reverse parking as the side mirrors don't give that much view, also need to take care while going through bumps may hear some underbody scrapping, when madly driven we can see the fuel gauge dropping quickly better not to calculate mileage at that time, nowadays in roads can see some well maintained clean stock baleno's not much abused by freakanmar as they are behind modifying existing v-tec's , it would be nice if you included more videos of rushing in twisty roads to see its planted handling like need a video itself for that with background having only engine note

A beat up Baleno is also seen in the famous show "Better Call Saul". It is the previous gen boxy car and it's know as the Esteem there. I noticed that the Baleno we got in India has the same rear design as the previous gen boxy Baleno.

Hi i am proud to inform that i own baleno vxi since aug 2004 I was using spairingly once in 6 months for one month as i was abroad. So far i hv not come across with any breakdown or accidents or any parts replacements except consumables. I love this car although i now own a new merc and another maruti celerio vxi amt 2014 then newly introduced. Still i love baleno n wl not part with n keeping in my fleet. Still i achieve 12 to 13 kmpl n enjoyable ride comparing other hatch back ir sedans. Babu Mavelikara

I had an old wagon R. The radiator cap was an SGP. It costs around 450₹ compared to MGP which costs 120₹
