The pro and cons of different generations, which model to look out for for first time buyers etc. Many enthusiasts including me are drooling over on the C, but are clueless on the ownership experience. A talk from you guys is more valuable than weeks of internet blog research!

Nice to see another F30 lover. Have you noticed 1. while in driver seat, the parking sensor beep comes from the direction of the obstacle 2. Turn signal / hazard light tick tick sound do not come from the relay. Sit inside the car, turn on hazard light, close all doors and lock the car with remote key. The tick tick sound stops even though the hazard lights are blinking. 3. Keep the door ajar and unbuckle driver seat belt. Shift the car to drive and try driving. You will be surprised (or rather shocked) 😃 So many small stuffs which I cannot recall all of a sudden. Insignificant to many but small things which do not come anywhere in the feature list where some others sticks decal for even ABS :-O

As always great video! One humble suggestion. I listen to your video as podcast while driving. There is bit more background noise like AC wind or something. If you could add a deadcat on the mic it would reduce it drastically. Thanks. Now waiting starts for safe picks..

I completely agree with the sentiment that sometimes an indigenous product could take a lot of time for teething issues to be resolved. Having had a Ford Fiesta, I later bought an Ecosport and ended up selling the Ecosport after my automatic transmission had to be replaced and then the cooling fan failed! All in like the space of 2-4 months after hitting the 5 year mark and under 30K kms. Now bought a proven German car (nope - not a beemer or a merc, but a more regular VW). Really happy with this and now feel there is no going back

Watching this is like going on a drive with 2 close car enthusiast friends and being a silent listener on the back seat

Can fully agree with the dog bite part, a puppy inflicted deep scratches across the lower hip of the front bumpers of our Octavia ( gen 3). Although the puppy was notorious for chewing on clothes and other things, it was the first time it chewed on a car bumper😁 and yes, when the abs sensor gave away, the infortainment and MID lighted up like a Christmas tree(Tyre pressure sensor failure, headlight control failure, partkronic failure etc).And reversed camera and parking sensors stopped working and steering got a wee bit harder. They shud really work on better ABS sensors..but yet, the car really is a pleasure to use, and the extra time spent for maintaining it is well worth it(not mentioning money since car is still on warranty period!😁)

Actually you can start a talking cars radio episodes too..😛. your informations are more highlighted, its really a g8t content which most of us are expected.

The only videos- including all movies and videos in youtube I've ever watched- where I never felt to skip 10 seconds

Very informative, but on the longer side. Hearing you guys, I dont think a used German is the one for me. Mostly because of the fact of spending “time” on it, which I don’t have these days. Thanks a lot for giving a perspective from a layman’s point of view. Though some might feel that the video is positioned towards buying a used german, I felt that it was totally impartial 👍🏻

Hi Vivek and JD, I have a 2018 Audi S5 with a ZF8 speed but it's one of the worst transmissions I've driven...shifts are noticeable and very rough specially when downshifting. There was a period of a week when it would not upshift with the paddles until the motor was above 2k RPM. Do you suspect something is wrong with my transmission? It's got only 48k KMS on it currently. Thanks and cheers!
