To this day I do not understand John's resistance to the decision of making Shuri BP. 1) She had the mantle in the comics. 2) BP is the protector and leader of Wakanda. Its not about only being the best warrior but also their leader. Look Embaku is cool. Loyal. Great fighter but he's an idiot. They couldn't give it to anyone else that doesn't have royal blood. Because of tradition and also not sure if they brought this into the MCU but anyone who doesn't have royal blood, the taking of the heart shaped herb would kill them. If they did that wiped the board of any other candidates outside of Shuri and Embaku. The tech person argument...again Tony Stark. Zero combat experience but yet is an avenger. you dont need a writer to figure out the cast of a mcu project when feige is pulling the strings. we all know feige has certain thing's in mind when it comes to every mcu movie so demanding a script to feature certain characters isnt out of question.

I loved Wakanda Forever. I prefer it to the first movie, actually. I thinks it’s basically an improved version of the first movie from a story-telling perspective. I think it made enough sense for Shuri to be Black Panther because she’s part of the royal family (next in line), and who out of the other characters who we could see as the Black Panther is going to challenge a young woman who recently lost two close members of her family for the throne?
Thank you! I also loved Wakanda Forever. As for Shuri being the choice, she was also the one who took over for T-Challa in the comics. While MCU stories do not usually mimic the comics exactly, they do typically follow basic story beats such as the identity of legacy characters.
Hugh said in an interview about a week ago that this is the best he’s felt in 25 years playing the character. He said he feels “rejuvenated”. He’s definitely coming back.

I think Wolverine got his time to shine with the fox universe, but now the new lineup can easily can be less known characters and fiege has that track record of popularizing less known characters
Sterling K Brown would be the best choice for Blade over Mr. Ali to me. He's always jacked and if you don't think he can play Blade check out the interrogation scene from Brooklyn 99. He's cold & calculated, and it was so reminiscent of the interrogation in Blade 3. Just showing no respect for the cops because he knows they can do nothing to him.
So Disney should do some deals with some other countries broadcasting networks, for example Alpha Flight with the CBC in Canada and Excaliber with the BBC in the UK. That way the cost is spread and we all get more content.

I'd like to see Alpha Flight live action. I think you do leave Wolverine out of the first X Men, do the original line up and then introduce the new Wolverine in Alpha Flight to give that movie a little extra pop with the mainstream audience.
Michael Waldron has left??? Oh, Calloo, Callay! That means there's a chance it'll be good. I do feel bad to go at him so - he did write the better scripts from Season 1 of Loki, but his overall direction of the show and obsession with Sylvie and the creepy toxic romance at the expense of everything else (including her, as she was easily the worst part of the show despite being its focus) was just so awful. So bad that I actually gave up on the MCU and stopped watching for years. When I heard he went on to wreck Doctor Strange, and then failed up to the Avengers, I just gave up on Marvel. But if they're retooling and getting better, more thoughtful, more talented and interested creatives, maybe we can get back to the earnestness, creativity and soul that got me on board in the first place.

Absolutely. No question in my mind. It may not be announced at SDCC. But they be in an Avengers film no question. Im with John. Im sure some of these are legit. Years ago, we knew things based on trademarks. So, those leaks i totally believed because it was logical. This time, its just a dude whos been right a time or two. With that said. Im sure Thor 5, Shang Chi 2, Dr. Strange 3, and Armor Wars will be absolutely announced. Along with clips from Thunderbolts, Cap 4, and FF cast presentation. I know I continue to be in the minority on this, but Black Panther 2 was not only not a mistake, it was better than the first one. And I agree that Boseman should have been recast. I signed the petition for it. But Coogler still did a bang up job on the sequel. Totally disagree with y'all.

As I said for me, all these announcements were a given or expected so for me they would not be exciting. They need an actual New unexpected movie to excite people. Announcing sequels and nothing new is a little boring.
Couldn't they just use a combination of stand-ins, body-doubles, stunt doubles, voice-actors, CGI and outtakes from Civil War, Black Panther 1, Infinity War and Endgame to include T'Challa in Wakanda Forever?
