Cyclops FINALLY got his "I'm The Leader" stamp back! I'm glad they kept the animation style. I’m pray the writing holds up to the previous standard of the 90s show.
The animation style is bad it looks like they use very little animation cells, many scenes look very static and animations are very limited and isolated. This makes it look like a webcomic instead of an animated series. Hopefully it is only the trailer and the actual series has better animations.
I really hated when they pushed him to the side in favor of Wolverine in both X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men. And don’t get me started on X3.
@CaptRicoSakara man he's saying the animation in this trailer sucks 1995 spider man had awesome animation and a great metal intro I'd also like to see it continued but I don't trust woke disney
@@ShadowBoss99 yes, the animation is bad in the trailer. I would prefer 1994 Spider-Man series to be a movie focusing on Peter finding MJ. I don’t trust Disney either… all the character models in this X-Men trailer are off.
I’m so lucky, I grew up watching this show on a whim, me and my father were walking through a Charity shop and the entire box set of the original show was around £8 and I had gotten £10 from pocket money that week, (spent £2 on chocolate, clearly a brilliant financial decision), and watched the entire show within 2 weeks, the show was unlike anything I’d seen animated at the time, and I’ve been grateful for my curiosity ever since
Sorry to tell you this, but the show has been hijacked by political activists who are going to shoehorn their wacky ideas into this show. Look up the writers of this show... Once again, I'm sorry man...
Spiderman the animated series with Christopher Daniel Barnes needs to make a return. The show was literally supposed to come back for at least 3 more seasons and the show ended on a damn cliffhanger, and it wpuld be so cool for Spiderman TAS to have another crossover with the Xmen
I Agree! If Marvel is willing to do this, they should be able to do "Spider-Man '98." If not, I hope "Beyond The Spider-verse" will resolve the cliffhanger, even though there were other unresolved plot points.
I find it so weird that they got Ray Chase doing Cyclops, and he sounds EXACTLY like Norm Spencer, but they got Cathal Dodd to come back as Wolverine and he sounds SO DIFFERENT from the original series 😅 Edit: Just to clarify, I understand what aging does to someone's voice 😉 I just thought it was funny that 2 different people sound identical while the same person sounds completely different. No ill will towards Cathal Dodd, dude was a huge part of my childhood 🥰
You can wish it well but the writing's on the wall for Marvel, as long as they are under Disney, they will continue this DEI crap into everything, not even the X-Men is safe from this delusion.
Scott saying "to me my x-men" is equivalent to captain america saying "avengers assemble!" I got goosebumps. Cyclops being the leader just feels right instead of being a side character that is still somewhat a high schooler or just out of college.
I need them to do more with Jubilee. If it’s a continuation, she should be able to handle combat missions now. But she wasn’t shown in any of the team shots apart from the end.
@@matthewharris1801This takes place immediately after the first series. It's called " '97" for that reason. Jubilee is 17 at the oldest at this point (unless a few months have passed and her birthday came, making her 17 or 18).
Wolverine: Geez bub.. Keep buzzing in my ear.. Cyclops: What happened to your voice? Wolverine: What happened? Cyclops: I'm asking the same question Logan.. Wolverine: I'm beer.
@@joshuagreentree4621cyclops is Voiced By Ray Chase, who is Next To voice the character, After The Tragic Passing of The Original Voice Actor, Norm Spencer
It’s still Cal Dodd but the man is literally 26 years older now and the idk raspy voice is probably too much now. Which sucks. I actually would’ve preferred them to just recast to Steve Blum but it is Dodd’s character.
Xmen 97 = more like this dialogue Cyclops: Are U banging Morph? Wolverine: Sometimes, but he can look like a woman Cyclops: Does he still have his... umm... Male parts? Wolverine: Sometimes, but he says he's non binary so its all good Bub.
Felt like when magneto said everything of Charles Xavier belongs to him now then switch to the Disney + logo, felt like it's saying it belongs to Disney now
I think this show will probably lead into Days of Future Past seeing that Magneto becomes the X-men leader (and Storm is approaching her mohawk hairstyle from DOFP) like in the comics.
@@_Just_Another_Guy bro they did that storyline twice. Bishop time traveled twice to prevent catastrophe in two different arcs, one of them being straight called Days of Future Past.
So excited. That theme song has always been so sick. On the other hand, I feel like Disney releasing this on a Wednesday is a missed opportunity... why not Saturday morning?
it looks so flat without all the exaggerated shading from the hand drawn style....just giving it hard outlines is not paying homage to the original style.i thought bub was reserved for strangers...why is wolverine calling cyclops bub instead of cyke..
If this is good and successful I hope they revive the 90's Spider-Man series (which takes place in the same universe as this) as well. That show ended on a huge cliffhanger and I would love to see that picked up on.
How sick would it be if this just had intense, Invincible-esque fight scenes, with all the finesse of a fight scene from an anime? It's already got that nostalgic, film-grainy look I like. And x3, Storm looks so good🤧💕
Glad this was posted. I tried posting a link to my Facebook feed from Marvel Entertainment but the bots decided it went against community standards. But even though the Marvel UK video seems to be identical, the bots decided that version was fine.
@@BrandonLacruzArt everything Disney touch at the minute, they ruin, for example the writers have changed Morph and made him gay. Its Disneys Modern BS... I guarantee they will change more, and the writers will ruin the series.
I saw some comments about Scott finally being a leader and not Wolverine. In the movies I never see Wolverine as a leader of X-Men. He always wonders around and does his own thing. He is the focal point of the story in almost all of the movies sure but he didn't wanna be in command nor did he tried to be. I think most people are confused between a leader and being a focal point of the story.
The greatness of the original series was that you got to see what everyday life was like, if you were had super powers. Going to the mall, being harassed at a restaurant. It had both epic storylines and battles, and the "mundane." But my favorite parts were the loner sequences, where a character was just stoping at a diner and something happened, or going to a store, or being on a farm with powers. That was far more entertaining than the big space battle stuff.
Lmao. I love all the complaining here that the X-Men are only now going to be woke. You do know they've been woke since the beginning of the franchise?
