I am so happy to see Thrawn, Barriss, Grievous, and the Grand Inquisitor again in animated form! It's like a grand reunion of Clone Wars and Rebels villainy!
there is a time skip of 1 year in season 6 of CW leading to the season 7 and maybe 1 or 2 years to the moment of her release,Blowing the Temple has its issues 😹
Imagine if she realizes who he is, she won't last long after that. I can't imagine he sees her as anything but a tool, if she knows who he is she becomes a threat. Would be jarring but suitable for her story to end with her dying soon after the empire takes over.
@@lostcausecollectibles yeah that's the suspense, who recognises the other person first and weather that person wants to keep it a secret or take some action
She’s definitely gonna find out. They’re tying everything together now between all of Filoni’s shows. I’m sure this and the end of bad batch is gonna set up what’s happening in the rumored “Dark Times” animated show featuring Ventress and other purge survivors.
@@taylorstenhouse6168in the final season of the clone wars in one of the intros for the episode they have a few seconds of revenge of the sith footage in clone wars style and have a new model for grievous
Even in the last few Bad Batch episodes I've noticed how good the water looks. Crazy when you look back at older TCW epsiodes and see how far they've come.
I agree, this is what I grew up with and while I do like the first 6 films, after ep 7, no live action star wars has come close to the animations. Just need an animated force unleashed now and I'll be happy
Filoni said one day Barriss Offee's story would be told again!! I did not seeing it coming for this series!! Lets GOOOOOOOOO! Grevious, Vader and Thrawn too! YESSS!
I am very sorry for your loss and wish you the best my friend, but I am happy to hear that Star Wars is a good distraction to the pain you're going through. We all need to get away to a different galaxy at times like this, sending much love ❤
because the old clone wars animation style has improved extremely since the last time he was seen in it. hope they continue these banger animation shows.. kinda like it more than almost all live action shows they put out
Seeing Grievous be an absolute terror on Dathmoir again is always a treat. I hope we get more tales and stories on Grievous some day. An underrated gem of a character.
Looks like we're getting teen kanan in this as well he was the one fighting with the blue lightsaber, and yeah he should be in his prime during this as well before he got injured
This looks amazing! What would be cool though is a Tales of the Sith series where we could watch backstories of sith like Darth Maul, Plagueis, Sidious, Bane, etc. I do hope that they bring out more stuff like this where it fills certain gaps of the Star Wars timeline.
Man, that absence of emotion in grievous, no laughter, nothing just silence, no talk, makes him so much creepier, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves during whatever episode he is on, and hopefully, we will see tales of General Grievous!
I really love how Disney has embraced thrawn more and more every day. The animated shows for Star Wars are probably the only good thing Disney has going for it. Let’s hope they don’t ruin it
Bariss’ speech in the Clone Wars might’ve been the reason the Temple Guard became The Grand Inquisitor. I can’t wait to see how they’re going to explore the dynamic between these two!
Vader has become so iconic. Throughout the years he was revered as an unstoppable weapon. But now he’s been portrayed almost as a divine symbol or a higher power (them falling to their knees at the sight of him). I love it 🔥
He had tons of plans, for like 3 more Clone wars seasons. All the rough cut concepts are available somewhere. Darth Revan was supposed to appear at some point.
@@Elfenlied8675309 darth revan was supposed to lecture a near physical incarnation of the dark side on how to dark side, luckily lucas saw the error of his ways
Brilliant (I didn’t understand at First because I thought it was the Second sister in Fallen order) but then now I understand what Path Barriss Offee will Take.
Seeing Vader with Barriss hurt. The same Jedi who hated her for betraying his padawan is now her master... I can't wait for this series to come out it's gonna be awesome
@@____________________519I just checked the star wars website and that says he's back voicing the character, I think there's some weird filter over his voice for some reason
Unfortunately it seemingly has barely anything to do with the Empire, as in, Imperial soldiers/commanders. And is more about the completely-ineffective Inquisitors and Morgan Elsbeth.
@@Sangth123you mean the really cool character stories about Thrawn’s right hand lady and her past and giving people a proper look at the Inquisitors and Inquisitor training? Yay!
@@talentlessbird3572bub, every Inquisitor that we saw in the comics but mostly in ‘Star Wars Rebels’, ‘Obi-wan Kenoby’ and of course the video games ‘Star Wars : Fallen Order’ and its sequel ‘Survivor’ used to be Jedi expect that those ones were tortured in the Inquesitorius ( trust me , you don’t want to go in this place) in order to be convert to the dark side and they don’t make their own lightsaber like Vader or Count Dooku did.
This franchise cannot do anything outside of the clone wars or revolving around the Skywalker. The stories from the galaxy, far, far away are limited to just this. Over and over and over again.
And Ellsbeth! She's probably the fourth most exciting one for me because she hasn't had many appearances yet. I'm looking forward to Thrawn most because I hope he's closer to the canon novels. Then Barris second because I've wanted all these loose ends from the Clone Wars to be explained. And the Inquisitors third as I like the idea of them and won't complain about seeing more of them. Maybe Barris becomes one of them as she isn't a jedi anymore and is linked to the Empire.
@@issac0027 He likely won't be in this anyway. He will probably be saved for future seasons of Ahsoka or something and he isn't really linked to the Empire much. Also I'm more interested in Ellsbeth because of her connection to the nightsisters and Mitth'raw'nuruodo.
Trailer is fine, I'm just a bit tired of the "vader breathing sound". At this point just don't show him so he comes as more of a surprise when he is actually in the show even for a split second.
Not a maybe. Confirmed he was one of the pair that arrested her. The exact quote from Dave Filoni. You have seen him before, you just don't know you have seen him before.
Bariss... Isn't that the girl who used to be Ashoka's friend and later framed her for blowing up a rebel base and made her doupt her place in the Jedi Council? I never thought we would see her again. And she is now working for Darth Vader a.k.a Anakin Skywalker a.k.a the one who exposed her and got her thrown in prison!? The irony! I am ready for this!
I just hope that he a good fighter in this series because lately in the clone wars series, he is usually having his limbs cut off. So I hope in this newer series he will get better 🤞🏻.
@@jackreynolds3465 there was this RU-vidr named Samuel Kim who adapted numerous franchise soundtracks into full length unofficial tracks (usually better than the unreleased official version) he has sorta just stopped doing OSTs on RU-vid and focusing on his personal career and life.
I wonder how that dynamic would work, seeing as how he may also subconsciously blame Bariss for Asoka's excommunication from the Jedi, and... y'kno, her criminal charges... all that. :P
@@Bell_plejdo568pthey let all the bad writers and directors go to the live action shows. They keep the animated series separate. That’s the only way it can be this good.
@@jebeifinn443 this might be the first computer animated Star Wars project with a TV-14 rating because there is a scene where Barris Offee’s nose starts to bleed.
@@dankusoonyt7473Outlaws looks like it’s getting a more mature rating too. I’m stoked. Either way though, good storytelling doesn’t necisarnaly need to be for a mature audience.
Thrawn's the real MVP of the trailer here. Disney has produced enough of every other type of character that fans can barely beat the horde back with a stick. This handsome blue devil though? He's the dark horse many of us are rooting for.
@@mhm35For the one time they release a good trailer and you say this. Also in the last two years we got Andor which is the best Star Wars Disney has given us. Go watch Marvel instead
Wow, that looked gorgeous.. And to get such a view of the empire is gonna be awesome, ok now for once in a while, i'm hyped for Star Wars content. The soundtrack is on point too.
The scary inquisitors that are so elite they can't beat a washed up Jedi that never finished his training and his teenage apprentice. Yeah, it is extremely difficult to take them seriously.
The inquisitors are poorly trained and meant to eliminate weak Jedi and rely on pure offense. It’s almost like Kanan defeats him because of his character development and no longer being held back by his fear. It’s called a character arc
@@chris_wizzudztrue. It’s also just so dam impressive compared to S1 of clone wars you can barely tell they’re the same show. That’s how far it’s gone, and it’s beautiful.
they really are doing such an amazing job actually making grevious look intimidating asf. He better get atleast more than a single frame even if it's a flashback.
@@christianschmidt8476their dialogue is, for the most part, but the music, choreography, and world building are peak Star Wars Even the cgi is very good, at least for its time
i’m so happy this show is letting us see so many beloved characters from rebels, the clone wars and just star wars in general but whats also good is that it doesn’t feel like fan service, it’s just organic
Anakin may be Darth Vader. But Anakin’s still there somewhere. And I’d imagine Anakin hasn’t forgotten Barris Offee’s role in causing Ahsoka Tano, his former apprentice, to leave the Jedi Order and thus leave him. And there’s no way he’s forgiven her. I wonder what Vader has planned for her.
I think it's actually a good question whether it's one of the memories that created Vader and are part of his anger, hate and suffering. I'm not so sure that seeing her brings Anakin's back or just strengthens Vader.
@@cryogenicheart2019i dunno i think the arcane one was more intriguing and new but this style is more real and detailed. both are good in their own way
Absolutely I have been frustrated that we have not gotten an old republic or Luke skywalker show in this animation style. I would even accept animated feature length films of the the heir to the empire in this style.
This is just perfect, barris serving darth vader knowing that he was the one who arrested her in the past, the amazing come back of general grevious, a little story about morgan elsbeth, seeing the grand inquisitor, and just the perfect ending for a trailer changing dramatically with fire "the tales of the jedi" for the empire.
